Absolutely love these trousers
Absolutely love these trousers! They're extremely comfortable, fit perfectly, are versatile, practical, and are generally very well made. The only problem I have had is that a small hole is developing in the thigh pocket where the stitching has slightly come undone (fixable of course), but then I put sharp tools in that pocket from time to time so that is probably what did it. I like how there are two hip pockets on either side (one with the zip fastening which I use to keep coins and things that might easily fall out). I even bought the winter version of these which are also fantastic (basically the same but with a soft and warm lining)! I would definitely recommend these for walkers, hikers, and if you don't need to be formal and like to carry things in your pockets every day in comfort... for anyone!

Great pair of pants let down by the button
I bought the 30" waist short leg (29) version and they fit me perfectly as a 5'5 132lbs male. I'd probably recommend going 1 size up if you have chunky legs/fuller figure though. They are a much better fit than the stuff i've been wearing lately (mainly Karrimor aspen) which are super baggy and don't look very flattering. These Crahoppers hug your legs well but not overly so. No flapping of material in the wind so thats a big plus for me. Very comfortable and lightweight. All of the pockets (4) are zipped and have a neat little sheath for the zips to tuck away into when fastened, nice touch in my opinion. They do stretch somewhat, however don't be expecting lycra like results. Only criticism I have is the button is a classic plastic jobbie with a slither of cotton holding it on, feels like it won't last very long at all. Wore them twice and it already feels loose. Craghoppers if you happen to read reviews then you should adopt the much more robust button system held on with a small piece of nylon strap (like the Bear Grylls survivor trousers) as they last forever. Another tiny niggle is the sewing on the actual Craghoppers logo had loose threads hanging off it, but not the end of the world. Overall they are probably the best trousers I've ever bought for the money. When the button does inevitably come off, I will look into getting a different style reinforced button altered onto the pants as they excel at pretty much everything else.

Stretchy and comfortable
The pro stretch are great. Comfortable, and loose. They are a bit flairy at the bottom, but fine if you wear boots. The pockets are all zipped, and there is plenty. A big leg pocket ( cargo pants Style) would be a great addition, but these have a smaller one instead. The winter lines pro are brilliant too. Same as these with a fleece liner in. So warm, they’re amazing.

Not what they used to be. Kiwis seem to have fallen off the cliff of a sudden ! or a slippery slope at least.
I was very disappointed when I received these Craghopper Kiwi trousers. I have 7 pairs already and they have always been good, well made and of a decent quality material, and fairly hard wearing. This pair are definitely no where near as good, being flimsy and a much poorer cut and fit. I almost thought they might be fake. All my previous Kiwis were made in China as were these, so I can only guess that Craghopper have changed the material, the makers or whatever , for a cheaper poorer quality item. I usually pay about 30 to 35 for Kiwis and I'm glad I only paid 15 for these as they are not worth more. Sadly I think these will be the last pair of Kiwis and I'll start looking around for a similar Trouser of much better quality PS. December 2016. I've changed my tune a bit since I wrote the above , as they are not quite so inferior as I at first thought. They are not so qualititious, is that a word ? , as the previous Kiwis, but are comfortable not wearing too bad after all. I bumped the Stars up to 3.75. I am quite fond of them now.

Excellent Walking Trousers
These trousers are excellent for walking, they're good value and very comfortable as they stretch with you when striding out or even scrambling up rocks. The pockets are good and the fabric drys very quickly. The knees are also lightly shaped to ease walking, but the trousers are not at all 'baggy' like the normal Craghoppers. It's true what others have said about the sizing though, they are 'tight'. I'm a 36" jeans size waist, but I found a local store where I could try these on before buying them, the 36" waist did fit, but felt just a bit too tight, I went for the 38" waist size which were perfect. So my advice is to try before you buy - if you can. I tried them in store, then bought on Amazon as they were £15 cheaper on here than in the local shop... I'll be buying more of these.

Alternative to Craghopper Classics
I have several pairs of Craghopper Classic trousers which have proved tough and comfortable. They are, however, rather baggy. These Active Craghoppers are a slimmer, smarter fit but still seem tough. The double pockets have gone but the remaining single pockets are all zipped. They're better than denim jeans which get damp in the slightest shower and don't need ironing. I've bought three pairs so hope they last as long as the classics.

Size incorrectly labelled
I already have a pair of these trousers bought from a real shop and I wanted another as I was so impressed with them. I ordered a Long pair but was supplied with a Regular pair. I measured my current pair and the leg was 33 inches (which is the length for Long) but these measeured at 31 inches (which is Regular) The little product tag attached with the plastic tie stated these were CMJ322L (i.e. the product code and LONG) but the size label sewn into the product indicated R(egular). There has clearly been an issue at the Craghoppers manufacturing and labelling stage where the incorrect label has been attached. This was a bit disappointing as they are a great pair of trousers so I have returned them today. (Interestingly, I ordered another pair of Long from another online supplier and exactly the same thing occurred - they will be going back on Monday) Notwithstanding the size issues I'm having with this product, they are a great pair of trousers and dry very quickly when rained on and are very comfortable.

My first pair of Craghoppers!
I have just fallen in love with Craghoppers! These "Craghoppers Kiwi Pro Stretch Men's Trousers" are great! - Very stretchy, just what you need for walking, hiking, climbing or biking... I recieved the size I ordered, they are so very comfortable. Some people have complained about the pockets being small, but the pockets on the pair I recieved are just as deep as any pockets on my other trousers or jeans. Plus they have zips! There are four pockets, one at the back, easily big enough for your wallet... even one with money in... and there are three at the front... one on the right and two on the left. Under the left pocket there is another pocket with plenty of room, for example, you could fit a gents wallet into it easy! The trouser material is thin, so perfect for summer hiking, but may be a bit chilly in the middle of winter up on the moors or peak district. I looked on the Craghoppers website and these are selling for £50.00, so based on that and how impressed I am with the first pair, I ordered another pair. They arrived today and are just as good and comfy as the first pair. I am walking up Snowdon in a couple of weeks, so that should be a good test for them. I have recieved no money or discount for this review, I am just a very satisfied customer based on the two pairs I have bought.

Love these pants
I love the way these pants fit. They stretch enough that you never feel confined. They can be worn casual with a tshirt or dressed up and worn to work. I'm 6'/190lbs and the 34 regular fits me perfect. They do fit tighter than jeans, much more like dress pants in fit, though stretchier and more comfortable.

Sehr bequem

Fit problems
I have a 31 inch waist, so bought a 32" pair. Figured that might work since there is an elastic waist. Turns out they were too tight. Can't imagine how someone with a 32" waist would fit these. Also, legs are rather narrow, then flare slightly at the bottoms. I'm guessing these are built for the younger generation, because my wife and son both laughed, chuckled, guffawed, and chortled when they saw me with these on. 34" inseam on my pair seemed right. The construction of these pants is great. The back pocket zipper is hidden by a nice flap for a clean look. Love that the cargo pocket has snaps and not messy velcro which just sticks to my socks in the dryer. Construction was high quality. Wish they fit me. Still interested? Try ordering a size bigger.
