All they said was do you want to fight while lunging at me. I was prepared enough to not only have it in my cup holder but also scared enough to have already slipped the safety off as soon as I noticed them. In the end I was scared $hitless, shaking, and could barely get my car in drive to escape but the person stopped the split second he got hit and went to the ground. I called police they came right out and the guy ended up going to the emergency room not because of the spray but he was so high they couldn't safely decontaminate him and was trying to fight all the first responders. As the police said most likely the only thing other than a gun that was going to stop the guy that night in his drugged out condition was bear spray. Stay safe out there everyone.

Thankfully did not get a chance to use. Cheaper than getting in the shops when you get to bear country.

Took this with us on a trip to backpack Yellowstone national Park and glacier national Park, felt safe with this bear spray, everywhere you look it says be aware of BEAR! We seen seven blackbear and one grizzly, all of them had Cubs!

I haven't encountered any bears yet it must work 😂. I'll update if I ever get attacked by a bear and hopefully live to update my review in the positive or negative.

I honestly hope I'll never have to give a review on how well this works. Trip is 4 weeks. A must have item for where we'll be hiking, hoping it never needs to be used.

Great rating and compact. Comes in harness but you have to have a belt. Would be nice to have a Velcro holder
