Improved the smoothness of cold starting, enhanced engine operation
My Mercedes Benz owners’ manual listed 0w-20 recommended; tried it out but produced noticeable valve clicking about 5 mins from cold start. I went back up to this 5w-30, what the dealers/shops use here in CA, and the clicking cold start clicking disappeared. Definitely much happier with this oil, seems high quality, and think it’s mainly the heavier weight is more compatible here in CA. Like the bottle too - has a built-in pouring spout. Definitely recommend and will use again.

Only oil I use
Motul is honestly the only oil I use for my performance vehicles. I haven’t used a different oil in almost 10 years now. It’s full sythentic, is compatible with whatever your putting it in (there is different variants for different motor styles so pay attention to that)

Compatible with diesel Sprinter
The label indicates it meets the MB 229.52 specification and is a 5W-30 weight oil, which is what Mercedes requires for 2019 diesel Sprinters. After an oil and filter change, the engine sounded and acted like before and there's no increase or decrease in fuel economy. Buying in 5-liter containers is much cheaper than 1-liter bottles.
