There are times when you just want to exchange and filter the air in your home. Maybe to remove cooking odors etc before a party, or after changing the litter in your cat box. Perhaps after you close the windows to turn on the air conditioner during allergy season. Or any time your home feels stuffy. Dont be fooled, this isn't some dainty little job that quietly hums 24/7 next to your computer while you work. This is a proper industrial tool suitable for filtering large quantities of air while workers replace water damaged drywall. The fan speed is adjustable. you can have it in the same room on low speed and watch TV but you will have to turn up the TV a bit and will definitely be aware it's running. I point mine toward the air return of our HVAC system and crank it up to high for an hour or so while do work in another room and run it while doing housework. It is as portable as a packed suitcase and can run horizontally or vertically. I like it a lot but our cat is a little suspecious.

Did our own DYI remediation after Hurricane Ian on one side of the duplex while a professional company did the renters side- they used scrubbers that looked similar. And now testing it out with my mold allergies after using for 2 days not coughing- The only issue is that it is VERY LOUD even at the minimum setting, BUT I know it has to be that way in order to do it's job- which is very good! Run an errand and have it at MAX.

Clients are always shocked when they learn how much it costs to rent an air scrubber. Why spend thousands when you can purchase a solid performer and own it forever! Yes, this air scrubber makes noise. It has to. There is no such thing as a quiet air scrubber. (Air scrubbers are different than an air purifier for daily use). This is a powerhouse that pulls all kinds of contaminates out of the air. I use if for mold remediation projects. It works well, isn't horribly heavy, and is very easy to clean between jobs. The filter replacement is a breeze too!

Update - the seller doesn’t properly ship through Amazon, meaning they don’t notify Amazon they have shipped so The UPS shipping info isn’t properly updated in the Amazon system. I returned the item And this was not updated properly through Amazons system either. Amazon refunded my order - bc in Amazon’s system - it shows I never received my order. Now Amazon can recharge me for the item if it isn’t returned. It has been returned and UPS has record of this. Now I must fight keeping my account being recharged for an item I properly returned. It’s not working for removing Vocs from the air. I have several air things monitors in my home which monitor VOCs, Raydon, Co2, ect….the Voc in my home Have been quite high lately at certain times of the day and we can’t figure out why. So, we purchased this hoping it would clear out the Vocs and improve the air quality in our home. We have had this machine running constantly, even though it’s very loud on high, for 36 hours and when the VoC rise, my air quality doesn’t change according to my meters. I will say that it’s a good dust and pet dander collector. But for Vocs and odors , I have had no luck and the air things meters have always been accurate.

It’s a nice simple machine. The replacement filters are a bit pricey. For drywall we just used the prefilter. Had to change the filter & blow it out every 4 hours or so of drywall sanding. It kept the air clearer than normal, there is still dust left in the area that may have landed on any surface as usual. But the air was much more breathable. My customer was allergic to dust & had minimal problems due to the zip wall & air scrubber.
