1/4" Drive 72T 12" Quick Release Locking Ratchet | 81030

It was that tool I needed in a bind. Didn't want to remove that upper coolant bridge to remove the starter on an LS430. A flex head ratcheting wrench was able to do the passenger side, but in the driver's side the outside of the wrench was too thick. This little tool did the job. The fact that you can lock the position of the head is just another perk of this little guy. Some reviews day it is not durable. The ratchet head is small, but the handle is relatively long in comparison. I would in no way expect this thing to handle a lot of torque, but it's far strong enough for its size. Too me this tool has been worth every penny and then some. If you're a tool guy this little thing is a must.

Great tool and nice form factor. Low back drag when using in tight spaces. The length seems to be just about perfect for most uses unless your in a confined space. Being able to use 1/4-In bits or a 1/4-in square drive with a regular socket is great. I get lots of leverage with this tool. I have smaller ratchets that have similar features for more confined spaces, but honestly those don't always work for the type of work I do so having something a little bit longer with more leverage works out well.

Very interesting ratchet that does a slightly different job than other more traditional ratchets. This is not a full strength replacement for your regular ratchet but it is a good option for unique reach and control. Handle feels great and when combined with stubby sockets it fits in crazy tight places.

Picked this up to replace an older 1/4 ratchet. Used it on a few small jobs and its been fine so far. and the flex head stays in place once you lock it. The ratchet action feels smooth. Handle length is comfortable and doesn't feel oversized for a 1/4 drive. The quick release is a little tight on some sockets. Not a big issue, just takes a bit more pressure than expected. No major complaints. Seems well made and works as expected. I had still recommend it, just not perfect.

Great ratchet for the price.

I never really expected this product to be so versatile until usage. I only needed a 1/4 flex head ratchet, but the slim profile was perfect for tight areas. I needed to do engine work for my car and regular ratchets were just too big to fit into the tight spaces. I didn't expect the slimness of this ratchet to work so well. This ratchet is decently durable, just don't expect it to handle tough nuts and bolts. It held up well for being slim, but it has a little play with the flex head from me torquing it on stuck bolts. Saved me a lot of time from trying different extensions. Don't shy away from this product because it definitely deserves a spot in your arsenal of tools when you need it. I will probably be using this ratchet many times just for regular nuts and bolts.

Meh. The ratchet mechanism of it was what I expected from a brand like gearwrench and the long reach handle 5star . However having a manual locking mechanism on flex head made it a little cumbersome to use in tight place 3 star. Last and most important the socket hold has no retention system so it just comes out and then you cannot get adapter out of socket without pliers plus standard 1/4 bit will slide in but just fall out for that 0 stars. It’s functional but there are better options out there

As mentioned in other reviews, it's not for heavy duty use. Keeping that in mind, it's an awesome tool when you need to work in a tight space. I bought one for my work box and another one to keep at home.

Excelente chave de catraca com a cabeça flexível. Bem comprida o que proporciona um torque maior. O material é de excelente qualidade e muito resistente. Recomendo o produto!

This was the only tool that would fit in position in a Ford valve cover job. Only bolt to rule them all. It's well made, and a great addition to the toolbox to collect dust. But I'll use it before I use the little stubbies. So it will get used. I like it, considerably expensive, but they're all the same price. It's strong enough to do the job.

My favourite ratchet. Nice length. Head angles to desired angle and locks in place. The ratchet is really smooth. It's very nice and compact and gets to hard to reach areas with ease
