Reliable! Will be buying again
I was very worried about my order, as it arrived 4-5 days after my purchase, and instead of being delivered to my door, it was placed in a mailbox I couldnโt get to for several hours. Then I saw just how small the box they were in was, and I was sure it would be at least half full of dead crickets. I was really surprised when Iโd opened the box to, nearly, all 500 safe and sound. There was a pretty bad smell, the potato was rotten, and there were a lot of feces, but I feel thatโs to be expected when thereโs 500 bugs crammed into a small box for 5 days. They all seem very healthy too. Normally when I purchase crickets from a pet store, about 1/3 of the crickets end up dying after a week. But after a week of having these, it seems the only casualties have been from my lizard.

Feed your crickets and they live
I'm giving this 4 stars this time only because the most recent package I received was much smaller with very little airflow, and about half of the crickets died. The first time, it was a larger flat box with plenty of airflow, and it was delivered to my door. This time USPS put it in a box (I live in a condo). This might be my fault for not telling the seller, but I assumed it would be delivered to my door like the first time. My first order, all the crickets came alive and well, and if you feed and water them they last. My 500 1/2 inch crickets lived about 3 weeks and grew to a good size, and the expected amount died while in my care. I will be ordering again, and I'll leave a request to have it delivered to my door, and if that's done, I will gladly give 5 stars. **Update** I ordered another box and contacted the seller to see if they can request USPS drop off the box at my door. They informed me they can write it on the box, but the postal employee will be the one who determines these things, and I tend to agree.

Half of them were DOA!
I have edited this! Lately in So California, getting crickets is like going on a treasure hunt, and when you buy them, the max one can buy at our local pet store is 50 at the price of $.17 a buggo. With my little bearded dragon, it costs me about $120 a month to feed her. Thatโs more than I pay for dog food for my 5 dogs. With that headache in mind, I took the plunge and opted to buy in bulk. This seller offered 500 for $27.99, roughly 6 cents a bug - a great price. I bought a small tank with a screen top to house them and I hope theyโll breed so I donโt have to purchase them as often. I opened their shipping box, which was compact and had plenty of egg crate, and proceeded to dump the crickets in the tank. The first thing I noticed was that these were not medium size crickets, they were JUMBO! On the not so good side half of them were dead. I donโt know if they had a rough ride, if they cannibalized each other or what, but I mugshotted them, and gave the dead a burial. Along with these crickets came a variety of stowaways. There were little black beetle looking bugs that kind of looked like ticks, and some long black bug that looked like a little worm with legs. I wasnโt sure sure how I felt about this. This seller was one of the more expensive, and I went with them because of their great reviews. Because so many arrived dead, Iโm disappointed. I emailed the seller explaining the situation and they promptly responded. They gave me a choice of a refund or replacement, and I felt that since my dragon has 250 or so to eat for now, adding another 500 might be overkill, and they might die before she can eat them. With that I chose a refund for now, and next time I need more, I will reuse this vendor. Accidents happen, and Iโm very happy the sellers were so accommodating.

Great price and a great product!
The 500 crickets arrived quickly and on time. All the crickets were healthy, and by the looks of it, none of them had perished during shipment (wow!). They were active and ready to become dinner for my leopard geckos after some gut-loading. I have kept these crickets in a 10 gallon tank with a screen top lid for nearly 3 weeks now, and they are still alive and well. My only complaint is that the crickets came free-roaming in a medium sized box, which made it difficult to transfer them into a different container for long-term care. During the transfer process, about 25 escaped (from what I saw, it was probably more). Thankfully for me, my cats and mini pig were more than happy to hunt them down and eat them. I wish they could divide the crickets up into four smaller boxes within the larger box to make the transfer process easier. I will be ordering again soon!

Need advise
I have ordered several shipments of these guys now for my bearded dragon Overall you can't beat the price But here are my complaints most times (not always) I get alot of dead ones. (Alot) First I have a 4month baby breaded dragon and had been getting small- medium crickets from the pet store. So my first order here was medium , they were huge! So my next order I ordered small they were so tiny he ate 3x as many and I ran out very fast. So I went back to medium thinking maybe they accidentally sent large or extra large. But nope they are huge again so you get super super tiny or large. My next compliant is the mess inside combined with the dead ones so this means you can not easily transfer from the box to your cricket keeper. I made that mistake twice and the smell and nasty mess it makes will gag you. So needless to say it is no easy task to transfer them and once you open the box you have to transfer them to a clean place with water & food you have to keep your crickets healthy and fully gutted to feed your pet. If there is an easy way someone please share because I almost want to go back to paying 3x as much in the store to get them all alive and in an easy to pour out bag. (Providing I don't take my container then they put them right in for me) Help!

Happy Customer, Happy Dragons.
I've been ordering for two months now. I purchase these for my bearded dragons, I have 4 of them. I usually recieve these about a week after they have shipped. Upon arrival I do have some dead crickets but definitely more live crickets then dead. 500 crickets lasts me about a week. My dragons seem very happy with the crickets. They have definitely grown in the past two months. Before I started ordering from this company I was going to my local Petco twice a week, paying a lot more for a lot less. This is definitely worth the money, good quality and quantity. I have never actually counted them to say I've definitely recieved 500 live crickets, but I'm almost positive I recieve close to 500, if not 500 live crickets every order. Definitely happy in my decision to switch and will continue to order from this company until my dragons pass.

Great Cricket Service!
I got fed up with paying over $15 a week to feed my leopard gecko pet store crickets, so I decided to give this company a try. I have ordered crickets in the past through a separate company and the experience wasn't very positive, so I was hesitant to give this company a try, but it was well worth it! Not only did all of the crickets arrive alive (there seriously wasn't a single dead cricket in the entire box), but they were also well packaged and had food in their container. I've had them for a couple of weeks now and only a few have died- which is way better luck than I had with the pet store crickets. My only criticism is that the crickets I received were definitely larger than a half inch. Many of them were pushing an inch in length. Luckily, we have another reptile that can eat the largest of the crickets so they won't go to waste. I will be ordering from this company again.

All crickets was alive and in fair shape the box looked like it went thru overtime in a playoff game
