Playskool Heroes Transformers Rescue Bots Boulder the Construction-Bot Figure

If you are searching for the PERFECT handheld toy for a little boy (or little girl, really) aged 3-6, THESE are the toys! These Rescue Bots have been around the world with my son. They have been thrown on the ground during massive battles between bots and dug into the sand to be buried treasure. These guys have been tossed in the tub and rough housed only short of being run over by a car (although they may even survive that!!) My son is rough on toys and these guys have lasted the years. I LOVE these and HIGHLY recommend for little tough tikes like mine! They all still transform super easily which is perfect for little hands or those kiddos who do not want to take the time to transform in 8-10 steps. These transform in 1 or two easy steps! Sturdy and easy. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Not to mention that the TV show, Rescue Bots, is a fantastic show with morals and values that most TV shows lack these days.

My 3 year old's favorite rescue bot. Transforms by pulling arms/treads apart or pushing back together. No real articulation in either modes though but all the rescue bots are like that.The included gun/drill attachment is fairly useless. My kids played with the attachment for a few minutes when the first opened the package but has since been put away. Boulder also has these small wheels on the bottom of the arms/tread to allow it to roll. The great thing about its simplicity is that it plays well/durable in either modes unlike heatwave or optimus prime with trailer that has it its arm pop out of place in truck mode if played too rough.

Bought all of the heroes in this line for my 4 year old for Christmas, Boulder, bumblebee, heatwave, chase and blades. He was the HAPPIEST boy ever and his 6 year old brother and 7 year old cousin were so so jealous! so far we've had them for almost 5 months and they are going strong, so easy to transform even my 2 year old can do it, which I LOVE because we have a couple of the other real transformers and only mom or dad can ever transform them and that is no fun!! these are sturdy, well made, and my kids adore them. I have no idea why you can't find them in Canada but it was well worth ordering them from amazon to get them!

I gave this to my son as his 5th birthday present. It is easy to transform so he does not get frustrated like he has with other Transformers that were meant for older kids. The toys are sturdy. He plays with them for hours inside and outside. And mostly I give it five stars because my son loves playing with all of them - he loves the TV show and now he gets to act out all his favorite scenes with his Rescue Bots which thrills him. I have no complaints regarding these toys.

My son loved this toy and played hard with it for 6 months. He buried it in the garden one morning and the garden got tilled and it got torn to pieces. But not in the places you would expect. The plastic tore apart and it didn't come apart at the bolts and joint. I was impressed. We told him that we would buy him another one and he chose the other kind of boulder and that thing was a piece of crap compared to this quality toy. My son also owns the rest of the rescue bots in this collection and they have held up extremely well. After about a year of hard play he kind of got over the rescue bots and got into Jurassic park stuff. So he gave all of these toys to his cousin who is slightly younger. His cousin just started getting into the rescue bots show and was so excited about receiving these toys. They were still in a great working and playing condition a year after they were bought and the cousin is still happily playing with them.

So if you have a younger child (under 8 or so) who loves Transformers or the newer series Rescuebots, I would say that these Playskool Heroes are perfect toys. They are a very good size, about 6-7 inches long. More importantly though, they are very, very easy to transform. I think that most kids starting at about 2 or 2.5 can transform these. You basically have to push it down and it just transforms. We got all of these figures a while ago and my son plays with them almost every single day. He loves them and is very happy with them. Happy kid means happy mom. I definitely recommend these. p.s. I noticed that the Heatwave character and Chase characters had run out and people were trying to sell them for $100-$150 each all over the internet, including at Sears (!!), when it's retail value is about $13! We were unable to buy the Heatwave character at first and I refused to pay black market prices for it. We just waited about 3 weeks and it came back on Amazon Prime for $15. So if you're in the same boat, just wait a while. It will most likely become available again.

I Post It & I Got A Knock On The Door & There Was The Post Man To Deliver My Mail, It Was For My Silverado Truck Revers Lights HID Brought From EBay. I Installed It, & Took Me 30mins To Install It. So I Clean Up Every Thing & When Back To The Computer To Leave Feedback, Which I Did & Check On The Transformer Hoist Toy. & LET ME TELL YOU. From .99 To 234.00 I Told My Self No There Is Something Wrong Here. I Not Going Pay That NOWAY. But Not Knowing That I Forgot That I Listed It On EBay, DA At The End Of The 7 Day Action It Sold For 405.00 + 5.95 Shipping. So That What Got Me Started. But If You Like To Collect Start Now. As For Me Im Still Not In To Toys But Money Yes. Buy & Sell Is My Way But For The Price To Get HELL YEAH. Aloha & Mahalo!

Both my sons age 4 and 6 played with these at a friend's house many times before I decided to buy some of our own. I know from my friend who's two boys are the same age that these are really durable and they play with them all the time and have friends over to play etc. We've only had these a short time, but both my boys play with them quite often, nothing has broken or come apart and they get to use their imaginations. We might even buy a few more!

Bought this for my 4 year old son who loves watching rescue bots. It's very simple to use so probably not appropriate for the older child who can manage more complex instructions, and my son has loved playing with it. It's quite hardy as my son has been 'flying' it and 'crashing' it into all sorts and it has remained in tact and functional. How long this will last is uncertain but for the price paid I'm more then happy with it so far and it has kept my son entertained for days!!
