The caps actually fit and seal old gas cans.
I have an old red 5gal GOTT gas can. The spout and cap disintegrated long ago. Three other brands stating they will fit proved to be wrong. Finally I saw a Youtube video that recommended the EZ Pour. They were right. Not only did the included black cap and spout fit the GOTT, I tried it on old Rubbermaid 2 1/2 gal can and the included yellow cap with spout fit perfectly. So Five hundred stars to EZ Pour for this. Took me years to find and now my old gas cans live on.

Works well
I bought this spout because I had a good experience with my other EZ-pour spouts in the past and needed one that was narrower than the original EZ-pour because of the unique design of the gas โcapโ on my vehicle. The original EZ-pour fit into the first flap of my vehicleโs capless gas tank, but gasoline wouldnโt go in very fast. When I investigated further, I found a secondary anti-siphon flap in the filler neck on my vehicle. I bought this in the hopes itโd work and I was not disappointed. I was able to dump a whole 5-gallon gas can into my 2017 Dodge Durango R/T in under 2 minutes because this spout pushes both flaps open and allows the fuel to flow freely. You absolutely need to install the vent on the gas can though, otherwise youโll have a lot of difficulty pouring. The spout is very flexible and I was able to adjust it with ease while pouring from my gas can. It seems well made and was easy to install. Iโve tried it with several cans, including Midwest and Scepter with no leaks. Best of all, the tip is compatible with the filler neck on my vehicle and likely its sister vehicles (Jeep Grand Cherokee with capless fuel tank). I recommend it. A word of caution thoughโdonโt leave them out in the elements. I see complaints about the spouts cracking and whatnot; Iโd bet money that those are from people who left them baking in the sun all summer or out in the snow all winter. Keep them in a controlled environment when not in use and theyโll last a good while. Iโm so happy that I donโt have to fumble with the โotherโ โsafetyโ or โenvironmentally friendlyโ spouts anymore.

Great investment
Really solve the problem of spilling fuel when filling gas tanks in your equipment. The flex spouts are about a foot long and the end tapers to assist in getting into any size opening. Two different seat nuts are supplied so you can match the correct one to the threads on your gas tank.

Not Readily Compatible with the Briggs & Stratton, Press 'n Pour, Gas Can
I'm guilty of purchasing a gas can, whose design is one of the worst that has ever been implemented and offered to the general public. I'm talking about the Briggs & Stratton, Press 'n Pour, gas can. Unlike the simple, traditional gas can, it has a non-flexible gas spout, that requires you to hold down a button, in order for gas to flow out of it. It's a major pain -- especially in cold weather. One time, I didn't even bother to use all of the gas, in the can, because the weather was so cold that my finger nearly froze, while holding down that stupid button. It's a terrible design; not to mention that it can leak. As a remedy, I bought this EZ-Pour product; which is designed to allow you to replace the spout, on a gas can. It's the traditional, simple, flexible, spout, that has served us well, for several decades. I was able to get it to work, but not without some modifications. First of all, neither of the two, screw, base caps are compatible with the Briggs and Stratton, Press 'n Pour. So, if that's the kind of gas can that you have, just know that the threads aren't compatible. However, the spout, which is placed through the hole of either of the screw caps, is the right size. In order to get this to work, I had to saw off the poorly-designed spout, which came with my gas can, and replace it with the EZ-Pour. This means using the original screw cap, with the EZ-Pour spout. This kit comes with a yellow, push-in, vent plug, that is supposed to be inserted into the back of the gas can, after drilling a hole. Right off the bat, I knew better than to trust this thing. The design implies that you're supposed to drill a hole, and simply bush this vent plug, into it. I'm sure that, doing so, will provide a vent plug that may also leak, and smell. This is because there is no seal between the vent plug, and the gas can. In order to solve this problem, I bought a separate, bulkhead, tank fitting, which is designed to be used with 55-gallon, rain drums. I'm using it, instead of the push-in, vent plug, that comes with this kit. The bulkhead, tank fitting, can be bought, here, on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08QC4SLCS?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Now that it's installed, it looks as if it should work quite well. However, installing the bulkhead, was a bit of a pain. The part was a little too big to fit through the gas can, spout hole. I had to grind down some of the edges, with a Dremel tool, and force it through the hole, with a hammer. But, in the end, it should work quite well. I'm giving this product four stars because it offers a nice, flexible, spout, for my poorly-designed gas can. I can't give it five, due to all of the different modifications, and extra parts, that were needed, in order to get it to work.

Spout yes, Cap no!
The Spout worked well, all of the Caps that were included with it unfortunately did Not fit the gas tank threads! The spout worked with the Cap I already had so it is definitely worth the money!

Out of 3 EZ-POUR spouts only 1 fit correctly.
I had a mixed experience with fitment using these nozzles. The spout design is fine and exactly what I wanted for my Scepter 5 gallon cans. Out of 5 brand new Scepter cans, and three EZ-POUR spouts, only 1 EZ-POUR spout with the yellow base collar fit all 5 of my Scepter cans. The other 2 didn't fit any of my Scepter cans. They kept cross threading and spinning. Pretty disappointing.
