Wireless Bike Computer, 20 Multi-Functions, Real Waterproof Bicycle Speedometer, Cycling Odometer with 3'' Large LCD Display(Simple to Read), Easy to Use

I’ve bought this multiple times. Love this bike computer. I hope they never stop offering it. I have multiple bicycles. Every time I get a new one I get this computer so all my bikes have the same thing and I information and operation is the same on each bike. I will buy this computer as many times as I need a bicycle computer. I hope they never stop offering it. It’s much more economical than my beloved Cateye cyclometers. I’ve tried other brands before and always ditch them and go back to Cateye. This one is a keeper!!! Love the big display. My nephew and I both have failing eyesight. This is an incredibly easy to read display. It’s intuitive to use. Only thing that confused me at first was the backlight. I’d accidentally turn it on and couldn’t get it to turn off. It’s not a button. It’s a touch sensitive case on the lower left corner. Just tap the corner by the “light bulb” icon. No button. Just touch the edge of the case. Installation and setup is simple, easy and straightforward. If you’ve ever set up a wireless bike computer, you know how to do it without instructions. As for those who say it isn’t accurate (like 1-star Kenny), I can’t say how they set it up and got 3-4 mph inaccuracy. I’ve set this up according to the instructions and only been off by tenths of a mile over 10 miles on the distance (as compared to a GPS fitness tracker app). And most of those times it was due to the tires needing to be re-inflated to max pressure. If you’re really into accuracy. Measure your wheel circumference manually. Properly inflate your tire. Put the bike on pavement with the front tire valve bottom dead center. Mark the pavement with a crayon or chalk at the valve. Roll the bicycle straight forward until the valve is bottom dead center again. Mark the pavement again. Measure the distance between the marks. Enter the measurement in mm in the computer. If you have to measure in inches then enter your measurement into a Metric conversion app or find a Metric Conversion Calculator online. Another way to get wheel circumference is by doing an internet search for “wheel factor.” The chart that comes with this computer doesn’t have all the wheel circumferences (tire sizes) available. I’ve found the Cateye brand wheel factor chart helpful. The Cateye wheel factors are different than the ones that come with this computer. Circumference is circumference. Not sure how there’s a difference between the charts. Math is math. But, there are also differences in what one tire manufacturer calls 700x23 and what another tire manufacturer calls 700x23. If you’re an accuracy person, measure it yourself. Also, I’ve had small differences in my readings and then checked my tire pressures. They were low. Poorly inflated tires can make a big difference. I ride the same circuit regularly. I can tell when my readings are off by 100ths of a mile. I’m kinda picky. But, I won’t over pay for anything. I find this inexpensive cyclometer does the job very well. I’m very pleased.

This bike computer is much improved over similar, but smaller ones that provide all, or most all, of the same functions this one has. Most all these bike computers utilize the very same programming method for set up and use. I've owned several of these small bike computers over the past decade or longer. They work, but often times are not very accurate unless you have correctly measured & inputted the actual circumference of the wheel. This bike computer is no different in that regards. What is different is that it is now clearly stated what the number is that you are inputting into the bike computer when you first turn it on. It's the circumference of the wheel/tire combo measured in MILLIMETERS. In addition, you are shown the most precise method to determine that measurement if you are looking for accurate speed & distance. If you are a stickler for super accurate info, you can check the results you get against a known distance to confirm if the circumference you programmed in was accurate enough or whether you need to remeasure the circumference again and reset/reprogram the computer a second time, which BTW, is very easy to do if you've done it as many times as I have! (One other thing - make a note for your records of the circumference number you program in for future reference because at some point far down the road the battery will need to be changed and you'll have to reprogram the computer all over again. Having saved this circumference measurement will save time and make things a lot easier for you. Also save the odometer reading if that info is important to you. It is very easy to update the odometer reading after resetting these bike computers.) Improvements of this bike computer over competing versions: 1.the Enlarged Display Size; 2. the Built-in Transmitter position adjuster; 3. the New & Far Improved Magnet; 4. (my most important reason for selecting this bike computer) the Automatic Start feature. This was & is the primary reason for me picking this one over cheaper models. I don't know how many countless times I've stopped during a ride to have a drink of water, check a text or fix something & forget to turn the computer back on after it timed out and went to sleep. Not anymore. You can turn on the display the regular way by depressing the mode button or you can begin riding and about 20s later the head unit turns itself on. I've been wanting this feature for years now and finally I have a bike computer that has it. Regarding the newly designed magnet & adjustable transmitter mount, both of these designs are superior features compared to the older style and make it a breeze for you to position both together almost anywhere on a spoke. Trust me, these two features are far better than the older designs. You'll never want to install the other type after having these. One last thing, the listing isn't all that clear regarding the fact that in addition to the stand-off mount for the display unit, you can mount the display directly to the handlebar which is my preferred method. Bottom line, this model is your best choice if you prefer having simple biking information available that doesn't require GPS. Now I almost wish my old ones would die so I could replace them with this model!

This is an updated Review - all is well now. I initially rated this product a "1" because the transmitter did not work and therefore was not functional. I contacted Nellvita Customer Service and after multiple communications over 2 weeks - confirming I had installed correctly, they sent me a complete new item - transmitter, receiver/computer, and all mounting items. The item works well - the odometer checked within 0.1 mile over 36 miles with GPS tracker. I like the large screen, and the various functions. I believe the thermometer function reads high, but that function is really superfluous anyway. Summary - it works great, installation was easy, and the supplier responded and fixed the initial problem. I would recommend.

After 40 days I could not reset time, distance, etc. to zero. So it lasted just long enough so the I could not return it. DO NOT BUY this terrible product

I’d recommend the Nellvita product if you want an inexpensive bike computer and do not want to spend more money for a bike computer that includes GPS, heart rate tracking, fitness app synching and rechargeable batteries. But, with smart phone apps or fitness trackers, you can work around some of features that are missing on the Nellvita. Included Features: Odometer, Trip Time, Current Trip Distance, Current Speed, Average Trip Speed, Maximum Trip Speed, Calorie Burn, Fat Burn, Stop Watch, ETA, Time of Day, Temperature, and it is waterproof. The computer also includes a setting to remind you to service your bike at certain mileage/kilo intervals, and it comes with a 12 month warranty. Batteries are also included. The Nellvita ships with two sets of written instructions - a brief set of printed instructions, and a longer, more detailed set of printed instructions. Nellvita also provides a link to a YouTube instructional video. I had difficulty setting up the computer and installing the hardware based on the brief instructions, and was able to gain clarity with the longer printed instructions and video. But, the video moved quickly and I had to watch it a few times to figure it out. The installation instructions include a chart to easily convert your wheel size to input into the computer without manual calculations. It did take me some experimenting to align the wheel sensor with the fork transmitter to get a reading on the speedometer without the transmitter hitting the spokes of the wheel. The instructions show the transmitter turned sideways toward the wheel, but the transmitter hit my spokes when I installed it that way. I was able to mount the transmitter at a slight angle so it worked without hitting the spokes. The computer/speedometer mount attaches to the handlebar and is tightened with a screw and nut. The computer clips into the mount. The transmitter installs to the bike fork via use of zip ties, and Nellvita provides several extra zip ties. I wasn’t wild about the zip tie transmitter attachment. But, the zip ties do work. The Nellvita computer starts automatically after a few seconds of movement, or you can start it by pressing a button. Once in motion, the Nellvita computer is easy to read. You can set up the computer to cycle through many measurements to view during your ride. There is no “off” button on the Nellvita; it shuts off automatically after 5 minutes of being idle. The computer backlight is bright and can be activated with the press of a button. I found the Nellvita tracked speed and distance accurately with slight variations compared to a GPS smartphone app. Calorie burn stats on the Nellvita were much higher than my smartphone app that is paired with a heart rate monitor. But. I understand that calorie burn estimates on fitness devices are generally not accurate, anyways. Though you can’t sync the Nellvita to a fitness tracking app, the Nellvita does keep a cumulative total of your stats, unless you clear the data. The Nellvita’s 12 month warranty can be extended to 24 months. Further, after I purchased the computer, Nellvita contacted me to ensure I was satisfied with the product. Nellvita stands behind their product and demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction. Though I had some issues with the Nellvita as discussed above, some of which could have been me, I rated the Nellvita 5 stars based on what it offers for the price. I did not rate the Nellvita in comparison to the more sophisticated and expensive bike computers on the market. If you’re watching your budget and want a pretty decent bike computer, the Nellvita is a good choice.

Installation was straightforward and the wireless connection works reliably. The display is easy to read while riding, and having so many functions in one compact computer is really convenient. Very happy with it for tracking my rides.

This display is BIG in a good way. Easy to read. Can be centered in the middle of the handlebar stem as opposed to older styles that had the display off center to the right or left. Simple to install. Tons of features including estimated ETA on programed routes and ambient temp read out. All for under $25! I'm ordering another one for a second road bike. Updating this review on 5/7/23: I ordered a second one. This is a great wireless unit with easy installation and simple set up. The large display is cool. Some may prefer a smaller footprint on the handlebars, but I really like it. As mentioned in my initial review, the unit has an ETA function. I've since used it a few times and sorta like it. Not that arriving on schedule is a goal when I ride, but the unit allows you to enter the total distance of the ride and then calculates/displays your arrival time based upon your current speed. The ambient temperature feature doesn't seem accurate on either unit I purchased. No big deal. The package includes the basic unit and all necessary installation hardware. There are extra parts added as an unexpected bonus including wire ties, a second magnet option for the spokes, a second handlebar mount option for the display, and an extra 2032 battery!!! I'll probably buy a third one as a gift.
