Summit...Responsible Solutions Mosquito Bits - Quick Kill FamilyValue 1Pack (30Ounce)

Ive used Summit Mosquito Bits about three or four times now and have been very pleased with how well they work. They're very easy to apply, and we've had quite a few (very aggressive) mosquitos showing up in our yard as we have a lot of plants and grass. I've found them especially useful in areas that stay damp or hold water, since that where mosquitos tend to lay their eggs. One method that has worked well for me is putting a couple of spoonfuls in a bucket of water (throw in a little vegitation) and place it in an area where mosquitos tend to be a little more active. I try to keep it in an in conspicuous location so it doesn't disturb my wife's plant chi 😉. One thing to understand is that Bits don't kill the adult mosquitos themselves. They work on the mosquito larvae in the water, which breaks the breeding cycle. After using them several times, Ive found them to work very well for our situation and cut down the population immensely. I would definitely recommend them.

We had a lot of rain in May and June of this year. I went around property looking for standing water and water in my animal troughs. These granules kill mosquito larvae and believe me keeps the mosquitoes at bay. We also put them in any potted plant pots that we have. Controls larvae that will Jay hatch in just moist plant soil.

No bugs yet must be working

I have used this product for two different infestations of fungus gnats and IT WORKS!! Not sure what is going on with the potting soil nowadays but both times the infestation happened after a houseplant was repotted in new soil. I have a lot of houseplants so a gnat infestation can become a real problem real fast. Isolate the plant and follow the directions on the bag. My experience has been that you’ll need to do the treatment twice as listed in the instructions. Well worth the time if you want to save a favorite house plant or plants.

Work great. I put the bits on top of my soil and it works when I water them.

works great

Good

I have yet to see the results, but I do have to say the manufacturer is sending completely contradictory messages about the safety of this product. The promo materials all indicate this is completely safe for people and animals. The instructions on the packaging suggest we’re dealing with nuclear waste. So I had to spend additional time researching the safety before using. I found assurance of the safety of the active ingredient from multiple reputable sources. I don’t know the reason the manufacturer feels the need to frighten people.

Is good for keeping insects away in gardens

Used in my fungus gnat elimination protocol. Works well, but for really bad infestations I would go straight to the chemical stuff first, and then use this to keep it under control.

Mosquito bits are great, they really do the job well on fungus gnats in my experience. Unfortunately though, I didn't receive my order. I did get a refund but the product isn't available anymore except for astronomical prices so I'm left stuck without any mosquito bits and a growing population of fungus gnats ruining my expensive plants.
