Don't know. you need to check the manual to determine what filter you need. Better safe than sorry if you use the wrong one.

Does the filter have the big fitting on the bottom or top? Pic conflicts with the one I’m looking at now.

Mine is the same as shown the picture. Recheck the filter part number. If yours doesn't match, it must be a different filter. Mine is for Onan 7000 diesel generator.

Bleed air from fuel filter

After changing this filter you need to prime the system. To do this, use the stop/ start switch on the generator and press and hold the switch in the stop position for about 1 minute. You should hear the fuel pump running whole doing this. After doing this press the switch to opposite way to start . If the unit doesnt start yet repeat the process until it does start.

Perfect Fit

True Cummins product. None of the problems of the mounting stud snapping off, or the fuel line connection threadsnot being cut accurately you find mentioned on less costly alternatives. Replacing that 8KW genny would be a bummer. Keep it safe with quality parts.

OEM, worked perfect as expected. Onan quiet diesel 7500 started right up after I replaced this. Do yourself and favor and don’t buy the $15 Chinese knockoff, the flares are machined WRONG and it can damage your fuel line fittings if you try to tighten it! When I bought this Aug 2024 it was $30. It’s $55 now…
