Skin Grip Adhesive Patches Compatible with Dexcom G6, Firm Hold, 20 Pack

These patches are a lifesaver - almost literally. The colors are great. A lot of options and the colors are vibrant and don’t fade. The adhesive is strong so it keeps your sensor on in all situations whether it’s exercise or swimming or whatever else. The fit is perfect around the sensor. They’re comfortable. You don’t even realize it’s there. It’s so great to have these and not worry about ripping a sensor off and wasting a crsp load of money. It just works.

I used these the entire time I had the D6. I now use this same brand for the D7. This is a must if you use a Dexcom G6 CGM. I live an active lifestyle, work in anything form 0-160 degrees, I run chainsaws and work on vehicles for fun.. Hot, sweaty, cold, and dry. I'm always getting my sensor caught on stuff. Without this patch I could not get through a day without ripping the sensor off. Me personally, I would not be able to get through a night sleep without it coming off. I'm able to live my lifestyle due to this patch. I can Swim, Run, Work, Bathe, and live without worrying about my CGM. Hey you have this meter because you need to know your blood Glucose. Either for diabetes or for other personal heath and wellness. Protect it.. It will Save you money on sensors for sure

My Dexcom causes a rash due to the adhesive, so I have to use an underpatch which reduces the bond. These patches fit perfect over the transmitter, and overlap enough of the underpatch to have a good long lasting bond with no reaction to the adhesive.. Occasionally they will start to peel around the 8 day mark depending on how much it gets rubbed, so I just trim them or supplement with a bandaid. Good buy.

Very sticky! Easy fit around the Dexcom due to stretchy material. Material is thick and holds well with some water/sweat but not submerged for long periods of time.

I've used several different patches and always have the problem of them falling off, curling at the edges, not staying on, ect. These are a bit more pricey however they are definitely worth it. Never had any issues with them other than maybe trying to get them off. Which id rather that than waist a monitor.

This is the best patch I’ve found. It’s breathable and stays stuck. I’ve worn it swimming and throughout my sweaty day In the texas sun. Now after about a week the ends become frayed which I didn’t like. To fix that issue I use skin tac wipes. That seems to do the trick. I’ve tried the other patches, the clear transparent ones. They do not let moisture out and eventually will bubble and fall off. Do yourself a solid and go this route and even add the skin tac wipe…you won’t lose sensors and let’s face facts…those things ain’t cheap.

Although I do prefer patches that cover the sensor and transmitter as well as the surrounding area, on my third sensor I decided to try these patches. I had high hopes that the adhesive would last all 10 days. It did! BUT, it pulled at the skin during removal (more than normal) and I discovered a horrible rash after removing it. It has been approx. 4 hours after removal and there is still a red, very sore, orange peel feel rash where the adhesive was. I threw the rest of the patches away. I did like that it stayed put, but the aftermath is not worth it! I'd rather have to replace a patch every few days than deal with what is on my arm right now :-(

Absolutely must have for anyone that is even remotely active. We all know the manufacturers overpatch has consistently gotten worse over the years. These are absolutely phenomenal. When they first arrived my G6 and overpatch were already well into their routine peeling. I actually placed one of these over patches over the top just to see how it would do, thinking what’s the worse that happens? We were going for a massage and soak in the hot springs that afternoon so I figured I’d just have to cut this one short and change it if it came off. Here I am the next day and the sensor is still in, not even a slight bit of peeling going on and the skin grip patch doesn’t have direct contact with my skin on approximately 40-50% of the patch because it’s covering the peeling manufacturers overpatch. I’m beyond impressed and will absolutely be a repeat customer.
