Classy indeed, but hinge is worrisome
Recent events have required me to carry around multiple pills throughout the day. Before the Classy Brass Pill Box, I was using the typical pill box from the pharmacy, which was embarrassing and not very safe, nor practical. It's only been a few days, but I'm no longer embarrassed and less stressed about having to travel with my meds in my pocket. Pros: - Compact. Box comfortably fits in jeans or shorts pocket with little show through. - Design is very classy. The brass finish has a clear coat of some sort, but it does not take away from the design. - Clasp button to open and close is effective thus far. Cons: - The hinge, as mentioned in another review, does look fragile. However, I have not noticed any degradation of quality yet. - Not child proof. Of course, to no fault of Houder, but nonetheless a con. I have a 4 year old and he is just as interested in my new box as I am. - Small pills cross over to either side. Final thoughts: I'm absolutely in love with the product and would be devastated if anything were to happen to it. I think it's a tad pricey for a pill box, but due to its unique design, it is warranted.

Excellent product!
I was looking for something discreet and elegant to carry pills I take twice daily; keeping the actual bottles in my purse wasn't cutting it. I initially chose this product purely for the aesthetic, the brushed brass is gorgeous. The function is great, too. The size is compact, but allows for quite a few pills in each section. The opening mechanism is easy to use, but doesn't pop open unexpectedly. The hinge looks small and delicate, but when in motion it feels strong and secure. Like other reviewers, I noticed a small gap between the divider and the lid. Big pills stay secure, but small pills can shift back and forth. To prevent this, I cut out a piece of packaging foam to line the lid. While I would suggest Houder consider lining the pill boxes, it's an easy enough fix to do it yourself, and not enough to knock off a star from the rating. Overall, I am glad to have purchased this and would do so again.

Really pretty. Looks classy
Really pretty. Looks classy. One problem. You'll notice that the walls of the white organizer inside the case don't reach the lid. This means there is a gap between the lid and the section dividers in the case. If a pill is small enough, it can fit between the lid and the top of the section divider and get into another section. Not a big deal if all your pills are different sizes and shapes, but definitely a big deal if your pills look similar but perform totally differently or are in different doses. Plus, the whole point of an organizer is to organize. When they're all together in one section, they are not organized. I loved the case and wanted to keep it so I problem solved a solution that works fine. I cut out a circle of think cardboard (i.e. the thickness of a box of tea, which is what I used, actually) and placed it on top of the divider. It's smaller in diameter than the outer metal case and doesn't stick out. It must be thick enough to do the job because I don't have any other spills. My tea cardboard had soft pink roses on it, so I'm actually kind of happy because it looks nice with the brass. The fact that you might have to rig up a system like mine is not a problem because the pill case is so nice. You don't see the cardboard on the outside, so the cardboard doesn't affect the look of the case. If you have large pills, you won't even need to cardboard. Test it and see before you decide.

Great for carrying necessary pills in your pocket without bulging
I have a few medicines that I need to have on hand wherever I am, and I've used a few different pill boxes, but this is my favorite. It is nice looking, doesn't leave a noticeable bulge in my pocket, and it fits a surprising amount of pills. It also stays closed firmly until you push the tab.

Very Unique
Itโs very vintage looking. Which I love. The color and finish is super cool! Itโs a bit smaller but perfect for me. It was able to hold 3 big Motrins and a few of my smaller emergency meds. It could fit more if wanted too. Snap is good! ๐

Pills Yes, Vitamins No
Classy Brass Pill Box by Houder - Decorative Pill Case with Gift Box - Carry Your Meds in Style (Rectangular) Let's keep it real. The drug store's pill box, Sunday-Monday plastic with slots, looks like grandma's pharmacy. My spouse needed a pill box and with his middle-class, don't-like-the-cheap-look mentality, I thought, "I'll get him a small pill box case that looks a little manly." Houder brassy and stylish pill box appeared to be the ticket. I was ready to write an awesome product review. One problem, my mate really didn't need to 'carry' his pills while he was out and about. He just wanted something to keep the pills in at home. Small, tucked out of the way, on top of his end table. Pros: 1. Compact - fits in pocket or purse or tuck it out of the way on a table and guest won't even notice it. 2. Stylish - brass finish is awesome. 3. Divider - nice to divide the different types of medications. Cons: 1. Not enough room for vitamins! Unlike other reviews where people worry about the hinge; more likely, if you are on meds, your doctor will require you take certain vitamins. In my house, we have Vitamin C, D, Omega 3's, and Calcium. Yeah, try to squeeze those huge horse pills inside this compact case. Three of the four vitamins have to be taken twice a day. I don't think the designers of this case considered people have to take vitamins too, just prescription meds. Hey pill-box designers, that's not real life. Doctors do prescribe vitamins this <----> big! True-Speaking: "We need a bigger boat" - or in this scenario, a bigger pill box, but with a classy brass finish like this one.

Very nice brass color, sturdy and flat enough for your pocket!
This is a sturdy box in a very nice brass color with three compartments on the inside for your pills. Due to it being a little flatter than the regular pill boxes of similar design, it takes up less space in your pocket or bag. Initially you may think it is a bit too small to handle your medications, but if you only need this box for one medication it easily swallows more than a weeks supply. I can fit at least nine pills of my "one a day"-medication in it. I love this product and highly recommend it!

Best Pocket Pill Case To Date, and Going Strong
I love this thing, for so many reasons. I've tried a handful of different pill cases in the past that all had durability issues, or would simply open by themselves too easily. This one has been in my pocket for probably six months now. I was first drawn to how simple and rustic this one is. It's a little thinner than some of the other ones I've had, which I like because it fits more easily into the pocket watch pocket in my jeans. If it ever does break, I will definitely buy it again. My only caution would be, if you have medicine that could be harmful to kids, be sure to keep this out of their reach because it is not hard to open. (Monkey see monkey do). Mine is either in my pocket or stored away at all times, and I tend to avoid modeling its use in front of them just to be safe.

Great little pill holder.
I really like this retro pill holder. I do think it's a bit expensive considering the size, but it does hold more than my last pill holder, and it has a strong clasp.

Nice but a little over priced
While this pill box arrived quickly, the box it came in was crushed so I had to buy a new gift box to present it in. The item itself looks & feels somewhat cheaper than the price. Has a good closure though, so at least it won't open in your pocket.
