My 3 year old loves the pictures and the story and wants to read it over and over. It was obvious this was going to be a movie spoiler, we were okay with that. You might be surprised how much information was provided in 1-2 sentences per page and only 32 pages. It does tell you the outcome of some of the races and where they are. It does not tell you who won the last race but I was both surprised and glad to know at least a little something about the end. There are no additional characters mentioned or shown that are not already "out there". For reference of the cliff-hanger ending..if you are familiar with the Step into Reading Toy Story 3 book, that ends "Will Andy's Toys like their new home?" speaking of Sunnyside Daycare.. it is a very similar ending. Highly recommend for the little Cars fans out there, but if you don't want to know specific details about the movie, wait to read it until you see the movie. Review: Grandson loved to read this. - Easy and helps him as he learning to read. He read it to his dad that is in the service overseas. Made my son happy to hear his son reading.

Love the book and an easy read for the little ones, typical of the other Step Into Reading series 1 books. My 3 year old loves the pictures and the story and wants to read it over and over. 2 year old son loves!
We read McQueen books at least once a day. My son loved this one and I love that it is a manageable nightly read with words he can understand and pronounce. Great book!

My grandsons love these books. The two year old can tell me the stories by the great pics.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my nephew who loves the movie Cars. He's just starting to read and it looks like it will be a good little book for him.

For Little Cars 2 Fans
My 3 1/2 year old son has added this to his "like" collection of books. I can see it will be useful in helping him learn to read as he is already familiar with the story from seeing the movie and the sentences are simple. Nice bright pictures.

Emerging reader & Cars fanatic
Great for the emerging reader, high frequency words and large print make for an entertaining read. Her younger sister (2) loves the bright pictures & tries to tell me all about the story too.

子供を産んでまもないので、映画館にいけませんでした。DVDは予約しているのですが、発売日がとても楽しみです。カーズ２の本です。イラストは映画の映像を使っていないのでちょっと物足りないですが、子供は喜んで読んでいます。とても簡単な英語なので、とっかかりやすいです。

3歳の息子が、 同じStep into reading１のカーズの本を気に入ったので、 もっとと思って購入しましたが、 こちらはそれほど気に入らなかったようです。 言葉のリズムや全体の流れに無理に簡単に作っているようで しっくりきません。 それでもカーズの本なのでそれなりに読んではいます。 「Old, new, red, blue」の方が文章が詩的で好きです。

bought this for my kid, lots of pictures and colours that keeps him entertained. Not many words which is what you would expect. Good value for money
