Sunlite TL-L505 Tail Light

Great deal nice light bright enough has a retro feel easy to access one-off it has a nice feel to it definitely quality. Easy to use and access the button and quality is real good and bright and retro, mounts easily.

This light works for me because of its reflective ability as well as the light. I mounted it on a Topeak bike rack with bag. Other people said that the activation button on the back of the light was hard to get to. Because my rack is built more openly, I can reach the button on the light without any trouble at all. I like that the light has many displays depending what interests you at the time. It has 4 LED's which in the dark should be no problem to see. It is a little hard to see during daylight or twilight. I only use it in the dark anyway. During the day the reflector works great. I also like that the batteries are super easy to change out.

It is bright, and the multiple LEDs/modes allow me to use the sequential strobing mode which offers a lot of visibility early morning/at night. The mount works fine, but make sure to install the mount with the U shape latch facing upwards, so the light slides down into the clip. This way it won't fall off the bike. The clip is not the best, so I just added some rubber cement on the latch to make it have a more solid connection. Never had this fall off or come lose, even downhilling mountain trails. Fits on a standard luggage rack, but the power button is a little hard to press because it is right next to the metal bracket on the luggage rack.

I had purchased a post-mounted rear rack for my bicycle and the rack had a built in tab with two predrilled slots to mount a tail light or reflector. The two bolts on the light fit perfectly into the tabs slots so it works great. The light is bright and very visible. It seems well made. Delivery was on-time and well packaged.

This has a horrible design for connecting the light to the bracket. The light slides onto the bracket. Seems alright at first. But, you hit one bump while riding your bike and it goes flying off the bracket. It happened to me twice in the first two days of using the light. I'm riding on roads so they were not huge bumps that sent the light flying off the bracket. I used double sided tape to keep the light on the bracket. I will say the light is not the brightest light. But, it does do the job. Don't purchase this light if you are looking for a real bright light. Other than the design issue and the brightness issue, it is a good light for the money. It was easy to install. Considering it came off during rides twice, it is definitely durable. The light didn't break when hitting pavement.

This is one of the few tail lights sold at Amazon.com that has both horizontal and vertical bolt holes to fit most bike racks. Fits my rack perfectly and looks beautiful. The on/off button is positioned perfectly for easy access. It has a reflector as well as a light, so I was able to replace a broken reflector and still meet the local ordinances that require a red rear reflector.

Ordered as replacement for damaged item was delivered the very next day and was a perfect fit. Easy installation and 1 button for 3 function lamp: flash, strobe and constant. Not as bright as other similar items but more than adequate.

Needed a light for my wife's bike that I could attach to her carrier. This seemed to be the only light that I could get that would work. Did have to supply my own two nuts and bolts to attach it but went on easily. She's very happy. Used it today on out bike ride. Works just fine.

Liked: good looks, robust design, light bright, easy to fit, and reliable. Improvements: slightly hard to change the battery as the carrier on my Electra Cruiser slightly obstructs the slot to open the light - but a minor issue.

Item and packaging looks well made. 4 light on modes. 3 flashing 1 constant. Screws provided are good enough for flat screw mounts on rack. Had to buy longer ones to fit my tubular rack. Rack bracket is stiff which is a plus. Reflective area is also another plus.

When installed correctly this is a perfect fit for the Ibera PakRak IB-RA5 Touring Plus Bicycle Carrier. I am very happy with this product. Update: I purchased another for second bike with the same rack. This light, however, is a different shape than the first one I purchased, and, this puts the switch in a less accessible (but still usable) position. Still an excellent product.
