No issues. Came new unused with no prior partitions on device. Currently using it for fat ps3. Great upgrade for storage. Had no issue installing. The 80 gb that came out of my ps3 was also Toshiba brand so almost identical aside from storage capacity. Will purchase again.

My PS3 fat stopped working. I bought this hard drive and swapped it in. Formatted it and did an update via USB drive. Everything works again.

To anyone buying for a ps3 spend the extra $ and buy a (Crucial mx500). I first purchased an evo 870 and it was a failure, got my refund. Then ordered this Toshiba Every hard drive has Lasted no more than 2 weeks then corrupted, tried formatting multiple times to no resolve. No interested in trying and returning the item for the second time bc I thew away return label and box.. took the L on this one. Ordered a crucial mx500 plugged in, installed ps3 system software and it’s been 2 months of fast load times, fast downloads and reliability all around.. again let save you from the week and weeks of headaches and missing data… BUY A CRUCIAL MX500!

It was very easy to install and initialize, and works perfectly to increase the storage capacity of our Eufy S380 HomeBase.
