The tool is very handy. I couldn’t remove the old cleats without this tool. The ripper is used to remove the cleats. The spanner wrench is to install new cleats. Each one serve a different purpose. In the beginning I used the wrong one to remove the cleats but didn’t work. Changed to the right one and works great.

I used this Kaddy to help me take off spikes from my Air Jordan 12 golf shoes. I hadn’t changed the spikes since I bought the shoes 3 years ago and it really helped me take them off with ease. There was one spike on each shoe where the ball of the foot is that I needed to use a flat head screwdriver to loosen and pliers but for the others it took less than 10 minutes to remove all other 12 without much effort.The installation tool made it easy to make sure the new 3.0 spikes double clicked. Highly recommended!

Love the ratcheting mechanism! It takes quite the push to get the attachments in (so you need to be careful since both can hurt you), but you get used to that (just push with a towel). It's very, very sturdy, and it's a great touch that the attachments both stow in the handle.

This is the third try for me with ordering this type of tool. The first two were cheap chinese junk where one had a handle that dug into your hands, the other was cheap metal where it bennt and the bit jammmed into the handle. This one works good with the handle being well shaped ergonomically and the ratchet is a nice plus so you have the proper angle and do not have to spin the shoe. The gripper bit to remove the spikes is a huge plus and grweat idea. Having a seperate bit for removing and inserting is a great idea. Both bits fit into the handle together, so you can store and not fear one of them will be lost. It took a little effort to screw the cap on as the tool inside has to encapsulate the round part of the tool, so it takes a little time to jiggle it in place as you screw on the cap, but it's not too bad. The only slight negative is with the long neck and rachet mechanism, it is a little clumbsy to use having to apply the necessary pressure to remove and insert new spikes, however it has durable parts and works well. If it was a little shorter and I did not have to jiggle it around to store the cap, it would be 5 stars.

Great product. Regular 2 prong bit wouldn’t remove worn spikes but ripper bit was magic.Installing new spikes with 2 prong bit is cake.Highly recommended

This tool is great, it comes with two spike install/removal tools. The standard spike tool works perfectly for installation but the claw (I forget what they called it) was the best experience I have had with removing a spike. Plenty of grip and plenty of torque. Having storage in the handle for the tools made it perfect! Love it!

Don't waste your money on buying a 3rd party or no name brand version. Trust me, I did and it broke after a few uses.Spend the extra $2-$5 for the Softspikes Cleat Kaddy. The overall quality of the product is far better than the other brands.I would recommend getting this specific one because it comes with 2 removal tools as you will need both.
