Cards are awesome.
This set is very worth the extra money compared to other sets because the combiner itself is so cool. I bought the Autobots starter set also and it goes together perfectly. One thing to keep in mind is that the constructions are SMALL character cards, not the large ones.

Fun Deck
Devastator is a great deck once you tweak it around a bit. It's the only 6 wide team in the game. Sure characters die off easily, but the tower mechanic when combining really makes up for their weakness. Every Transformers TCG player should pick up a copy. The Work Overtime card will be a staple in many decks to come.

Great deck
who doesn't want the constructicons! To my surprise I dont feel any need to modify this deck, perfectly made as is.

Great characters, but deck needs upgrades to succeed
TLDR: Buy it if you don't mind spending another $20 to upgrade the deck to something that works. So, the second standalone character set is Devastator, consisting of the 6 Constructicons and an included battle deck. The character cards rock, the build-a-tower mechanic is cute, and the deck provides a number of jumping off points. If you're an avid player, you absolutely need to buy this to get your copies of the card WORK OVERTIME. Only problem is, these guys got slaughtered by everything else until Wave 3 Siege came out. You need some singles from that set to make these guys shine.

The cards are meant to fold in half.
For the price this set is excellent. Combining to form Devastator and then crushing your opponent feels good.

Box was crushed but the cards are great
Packaging got crushed in the transport so the box was ripped past wanting to keep it as a "collectible" but the cards were in really good conditions and they were ordered to play with them and not a "collectible" In the end I was happy with my purchase. Great support form the seller when contacted about the subject. Thank you.
