It works fine
I bought two of these Ray Padula manual hose timers about three years ago and until today they both worked fine. Today I found one of them has a crack in the bottom, and though it will still work, I want to replace it so there won't be a water leak near my hosebib. We are on a well with high mineral content water, and readily get mineral buildup on all our hosebibs and timers. The mineral buildup eventually causes all the timers we purchase to eventually cease to function.

Doesn't last long
Works fine while it works. Casing cracked the beginning of the second season while in use causing a flood. Company email won't respond. Their voicemail is always full. Their 5 year warranty is therefore a joke. Don't waste your money.

Did not last a year
Not expensive but the timer portion stopped working in a short time. Amazon was good about an exchange. Item is too inexpensive to try and get anything from the manufacturer.

Complete Junk : RP-TIM-1
Was disappointed with the longevity of competing products, so I bought 2 of these. Installed one. Checked the functions by going from Off to Manual On to Off to Timer to Off. Water started pouring out of the housing. A new record - the others lasted only a couple years, but this one did not last 5 minutes. Yeesh.

Lousy timer, broke after two weeks. Melnor unit going on 4 years now.
We bought this timer to replace a melnor timer that broke because I left it out too long and it froze (MY FAULT). This Padula timer broke in two weeks with very light use. I do not recommend this timer to anyone.

Absolute Junk
Had this timer for a total of five minutes. Turned it to start the timer and the mechanism inside snapped. Broke on the first use. Stay away from this timer.
