good quality, small, and helpful
small and super cute - perfect to hang off a bag so i donโt get lost bushwalking (or figuring out which way to go when emerging from a subway)

Compact & Accurate, But Needs to Stay Still
This small compass is a great tool to carry as a keychain, and it accurately points to magnetic north. However, it only works well when left to settleโif you hold it while walking, it doesn't provide reliable readings. Overall, a handy and functional piece for those who need a portable direction guide.

Donโt Get Lost!
Smaller than I thought. Still, does its job. Conveniently clips to backpack, belt or most anything. Well-made, affordable and stylish.

Nice Little Compass, Works Well
The one I got works well provided it isn't near iron or steel, or magnets of course. It's on the small side, but easy to read and seems pretty reliable. The glowing dial directions and integrated carabiner are a practical and nice touch. It's good for a quick reference for orientation, but not ideal for accurate land navigation. Having a nicer compass and this both are a good option to cover the basics. Thanks.

It doesn't work.
This compass was quite a disappointment. It has a short life. I purchased it in January. It's July, and it is junk. I wish I could return it. There is no value for the money. Purchase something else.

Accurate. Bulletproof. All you need.
This is all you need. Accurate, no nonsense. I've tested it in several locations where I know the cardinal directions and it's always one up accurate. Good for general direction. As a side note, it must be oil filled because I wear it on my belt loop in a -20F freezer and it stopped spins/works accurately. I've also bumped against several solid steel beams and it hasn't cracked or anything. I really don't see any other reason to get another small compass. This does great for cardinal directions and is bulletproof. If you want something more accurate for land navigation, obviously get a full featured compass to put in your bag. This is just for basic navigation. But dang, it is good.

Great for travel, looks nice.
Bought this product for my husband after a trip to Europe where it was easy lose orientation in a strange city, etc. Much easier to read a compass than to wonder around aimlessly. Really nice looking and can be clipped onto a backpack or belt loop. Great value for the price. May order a second one for myself.

Great little compas for basic navigation
I have a number of compasses. They never leave the house. Most of the time I have no need for one and if push comes to shove, there is always the cell phone. However, this one is different. It clips onto something with ease and on those occasions where it helps me to figure out where I'm headed, it is very valuable. I was in a state part the other day with only a sketchy map. There were lots of trees, so you couldn't see very far. I was trying to find ruins. By keeping an eye on my direction they were easy to find. Do you need a compass for that? No. Was it useful to have one? Yes. This thing works well, seems accurate enough for those small tasks, is well built, and is simple, small, and light enough that you might as well take it with you. When I go for a walk, I now take this with me, just in case. I'm not exactly on rescue missions and never really in an area where I could get seriously lost, but heading back to the parking, or re-calibrating which way I was headed has its uses.

Excellent for the price.
Not sure what people were expecting for 6 quid. It's a nice strong clip, that held the paracord quick release handle securely, which is all I needed it to do. It's got a 50p compass (I've bought a lot of carabiners, so know you can pay ยฃ6 just for that). Yes plastic will get scratched if it's dragged round a playground, but if you don't give it to small children, who don't need a compass anyway, it's perfectly fine. If you shake the disc floating in water, it will point in odd directions. But why are you shaking your compass in the first place? And if you have another compass to check it against, and it's not accurate, just remember which mark is actually north. It's not that hard, and it was SIX POUNDS!
