Cambro RFS6PP190 Camwear 6-Quart Round Food Storage Container with Lid

I trust the brand, and it (barely) holds a full 1800 g dough after it triples in volume. Sturdy material, it hasn't stained, the labeling hasn't worn off. I'm just waiting for the 12 qt version to drop in price again before picking one of those as well. (Photo shows the two flours in my Saturday 75% Whole Wheat Bread recipe from Forkish's FWSY. Have been using the tub for two happy months.)

Perfect size for your sourdough to hang out and bull ferment in. Easy to wipe off if marking on and it's quality is really nice. The seal on the lid is really good too

As a new sourdough baker I couldn't figure out why my bread was a bit moist. Going back to Youtube and finding channels to address the problem resulted in my purchase of the Cambro 6-qt round food storage container with lid. I was under proofing my bread because the bowls I used for bulk proofing were concave and difficult to judge how much my dough had risen. This Cambro container solved the problem by allowing me to see the level of the dough after placing in the container as well as how far it had risen after 8-10 hours. A game changer because now my bread is turning out great. The lid is placed on the container during the bulk proofing and fits well. I make two loaves at a time so the 6 qt size was right for me. Easy to clean, too.

This is a quality product. Well made and the perfect size for a GIANT SIZE 20 oz box of dry cereal. It’s a sturdy 6 qt capacity container and it’s made in the USA. I will definitely purchase more.

I have two and use them to bulk proof sourdough. This is a must have item for any baker! Please note that the seller ships fast and stands behind their product. 100% endorsement! Ohhh! And this item practically ‘self cleanse’!! It’s easy to see the progression of the dough and at the end. Cool that the container can sit out overnight and you just have to wipe the remnants of dried batter before washing!

I picked up this lidded tub to hold my pre-ferment bread overnight, before switching to the larger 12qt tub for the final dough mix. Although there are many times where this 6qt tub is large enough. Great size, love that it has a lid (no more fussing with plastic wrap) and I can judge how much the dough has risen by the marks on the side - although 1/2 qt marks would be a welcome addition. It's not very clear - enough to see through to tell what's in it, but it's not clear. Though the containers that are clear contains BPA and this one does not. The lid snaps on securely. I would not call it a seal, and if the tub were to fall off the counter I wouldn't be surprised if the lid popped off, but it's secure enough that if I jostled it around on the counter or in a pantry, it firmly stays put. This tub would also work well for storing dry good that didn't need to be air tight (such as pasta). Would love if I could fit it inside the 12qt tub with the lid closed, but no such luck.

Came well packaged and clean. Plastic was flawless. Cover correctly sized and works well. All my bread goes in this container. Long lasting.

Have not used item yet. However it looks perfect for sour bread to know when doubled in size without thinking about it,

The dough mixing bucket is exactly how it was described to be and is much easier to clean than a glass mixing bowl of the same size the one current down side is that the supplier for it is using UPS for most of their operations and unfortunately as of late outside of the US market they are not the best option to ship something internationally as they have been forced to sell off most of their international operations due to financial and political difficulties in a large portion of important international markets making it difficult for them in particular to acquire the necessary licenses to ship directly into and out of the US at a reasonable price in most of the international markets as such they have had to use third party shipping companies in those markets to make up for the shortfall and some of those companies are slow to say the least but, they get the job done for a responsible price even if they sometimes under estimate just how long it takes to get the paperwork in order to get the package threw customs and into the drivers and eventually the customers hands they get the package there no matter what.

Product had good reviews. Bought specifically because it came with a lid. Showed up without a lid and I need to ship it back and reorder, which will probably take another 3-4 weeks. Container itself seemed good quality.

Poor quality! Cracked when washing it before I even used it.
