Protektor Model Front Bag

The bag works very well for long range shooting , but it's just a little high on price.

This is a very well known manufacturer, and products are nice. Stitching is great, the leather is very soft and looks like it will last for a generation. My only gripe is that it doesn’t come loaded with sand as per the advertisement. Shipping says it’s close to 5 pounds, but mine was not loaded with sand. Be aware it’s an extra step…

I just received a front, rear, and pillow bag to use for bench shooting. Really impressive quality made with glove-soft leather. Smells like real American leather too. The hard base models look like they have thin plywood in the pictures for a base, but it's actually layers of suede sandwiching some kind of polycarbonate stiffener. All stitched up nice and tight. The bags have a simple filler tube design that allows you to fish out the tube to drain some sand if desired, but I like them just the way they come. The "rabbit ear" model has a separate filler tube for each ear. I am planning on cutting some plywood squares to adjust the front and rear height when shooting. I have applied Sno-Seal to protect the leather from moisture. Will update if any problems but unlikely. These things will probably outlast me.

This front leather gun rest is the bag to have for the serious shooter who wants to bench fire his/her rifle in order to sight the weapon in. The leather is great quality, it is soft enough for resting the barrel on for those weapons with short foreends or to rest the foreend on directly, yet it is sturdy enough to take the abuse! Highly recommend this item.

I bought this item as a neck rest for my guitars. This product is well constructed and made of a durable yet soft leather that I am always comfortable laying my instruments upon. This filled version is heavy and will stay put while you work. I highly recommend it.

I use this with my Weihrauch HW97 KT rifle. The rifle is the best springer you can buy and so is the front bag,

It's a great product. I've inadvertently left it out in the rain and snow and except for the color fading it's as good as it was 10 years ago. The first one I got was filled with sand and ready to use. I needed a second one to adjust iron sights on a long rifle. No sand in this one. You would think for the price you're paying they would include a long spout funnel to fill it. I ended up cutting off a piece of scrap propane copper tubing, used a dowel to align a funnel with the tubing and taped the two together. It took me longer to figure out how to do it than it did to fill it. It's well worth the money and seemingly will last forever but you have to be a little inventive to filling it with sand.

Great product; I use it for a guitar neck stand for changing strings. Very well made product manufactured in the USA. IF you are a guitarist that has wrestled with an instrument, sliding around while changing strings or working on the instrument in general, you'll really like this item.
