Princess 2-in-1 Smart Tower Fan Heater and Cooler, Bladeless, Smart Control and Free App, Compatible with Alexa, 4 Heat Settings, Oscillating

I bought this fan for my daughters bedroom and have now bought a second one for my sons room as well. First of all the fan is very practical, I had previously bought a cheap plastic desk fan, but then found it was very hard to position right to get cool air where you need it. As this is a freestanding tower you don’t have that problem, the design is also very nice and feels really high quality and not at all cheap. What I particularly like is the different settings, as well as changing the power level you can change the oscillation to sleep or natural which varies the power, seemed to work really well to not disturb the kids and get them off to sleep. What is different about this fan though is that you can also control it from your smartphone, you just download the homewizard climate app, then follow the setup instructions, I am not at all technical but I got it working with no problems. This is really handy as I normally put the kids to bed with the fans on, then after a while turn the fans off and I don’t have to move a muscle for a change LOL! Anyway nice product I would recommend.

Good product on the whole. can be set up so that most functions accessible via Alexa, but manual almost non-existent. Eventually found out you only need a free app to make it work with Alexa, you have to enable and link the Alexa skill to the account you have set up in the app so have your password handy, and in the setup process it will be called a "switch" rather than a fan. Worth it in the end though, it all works very well. Slot in edge of base through which cable is supposed to pass is too narrow and I had to file it to make it larger, as trying to push it into the space was already starting to mark the outside covering of the cable. if you file slot too wide though, cable will flop down every time you move it.

Very stilish heater and probably, for me , the best looking heater in the market but for the price I expected a bit more power. Is not noisy but not even particularly quiet , it’s easy to install and the app is nice but it takes ages to warm up a large room and temperature doesn’t go up more than 2-3dergrees max. For me , as a heater , doesn’t make any difference for that price you can have the radiators on a lot more during the 5 months of winter and pay the difference .

Tall and thin really works for heating a room quickly and a great help in cold shed as a personal heater on really cold days keeping you heated top to bottom in an office chair rather than just cooking your feet. Bit fiddly to set up the WiFi (have your WiFi password ready to type in fast!), but once it’s done it’s great I can turn on to warm up my shed before I get to work either from home over WiFi or while I’m out on the school run it connects from anywhere. A good rule of thumb is to always check its in a safe position when you leave the room (leaving my office at the end of the day so you know it’s safe to turn on remotely next time) and when you turn on remotely always set the timer for an hour (this is the minimum) as I once forgot I’d turned it on and it ran for 6 hours full blast up in the shed before I remembered as I ended up working from the kitchen that day. Will heat a room from Cold in 15-20mins and even heats our 5.5x3.5m very uninsulated conservatory from Ice on the windows cold to cosy warm in around an hour. Currently being used to dry washing on the indoor racks in record time too cheaper than the tumble drier And doesn’t shrink stuff as it’s gentler.

I decided to buy this Product as the option to control it through app was what I was looking for. I read all the instructions and reviews/Q&A, so I felt well informed in the way how I should set it all up. I disconnected from my home wifi, to be able to connect to the fan WiFi, I switched off my data on my mobile, so it doesn't switch between the two automatically, I switched off the reconnect option for my home wifi.... but still whenever the Fan WiFi appears as an available option, it connects for max of 3 seconds and then it drops. Every time. I don't even have enough time to reconnect to my wifi to set up a network. Called customer service, I was told that I've done everything right and maybe the fan is faulty. I was advised to order a replacement. After trying another product, I have the same issue. The fan wifi connection drops after a few seconds and it's not visible to connect to my phone after pressing and holding the button. Email from the customer service wasn't helpful at all as the response was a generic response to another common issue. Anyway, definitely returning. The company has clearly some more app development to do.

The fan looks really smart, nice and sleek. Had to download the homewizard climate app and followed the instructions in the app to connect my fan to my WiFi. After the second attempt it worked perfectly and now I can do all from my phone. I wanted it to work with Alexa so found the skill in the Alexa app and linked this to my fan, now I can tall Alexa to turn the fan on and off. I am told from the company that further voice commands are ready to go the moment Alexa is updated to accept multi commands in Europe so just waiting for this. All good so far, it is really quiet and quite powerful. Really works in the bedroom as the noise does not keep me awake and I can set timers. I like the fact I can operate it manually from the buttons ob the top so I don't always have to reach for my phone.

Its a good fan and heater just the perfect size and it's quiet. Soon get's the room upto the required temerature. But connecting it is the problem and connection is one of the reasons I choose this. My wi-fi works on 5GHZ, the fan only works on 2.4GHZ. But your connecting to your phone i hear you say. New Motorola on Android 14, keeps saying wrong password when trying to connect. Tried several times emailed the company a few days ago, no response so it's getting returned.

Within about six weeks of use the thing became so noisy it was impossible to keep on. Own fault but tried lightly shaking it back and forth to see if it was some kind of alignment issue but ended up making it so much worse by causing half a dozen blades or whatever inside to break and fall. Emphasis on the *lightness* of this shaking… if the thing fell over I’d honestly expect it to shatter like fragile glass. Sad because it did seem to work decently with Alexa.
