Is the pull out hose a metal shower like hose or fibre? I’ve had fibre ones before and friction prevents the pull out hose retracting properly.

It is fibre. Retracts ok, but a bit noisy due to friction. Also, make sure you have enough space under the sink for the weight to drop and move freely. In mine there is a pipe in the way and the weight bumps onto it making the retraction slower and clunkier. Not a design fault by Grohe, but of my under sink crowded space.

No, received two chrome (one as replacement), in the end had to return both!
