My Bath Seat

The Summer Infant My Bath Seat has been an absolute lifesaver during baby bath time! This ingenious product has made the bathing routine so much easier and safer for my little one. First and foremost, the setup is incredibly easy. It takes just moments to secure it in the bathtub, and once in place, it provides excellent support for my baby during bath time. The backrest offers a comfortable and secure sitting position, allowing my baby to enjoy bath time while being safely supported. The design is brilliant. The seat keeps my baby in an upright position, making it easier for me to bathe him without worrying about slips or slides. It's a fantastic transition for babies who are learning to sit up independently, offering just the right amount of support without restricting their movements. I also appreciate the sturdiness and durability of this bath seat. It's made with high-quality materials that feel secure and reliable. Plus, the compact size makes it easy to store when not in use. The peace of mind it provides is priceless. I can focus on bathing my baby without constantly worrying about slips or falls. It's been an absolute game-changer in making bath time a fun and enjoyable experience for both my baby and me. If you're a parent looking for a safe, reliable, and user-friendly solution for your baby's bath time, the Summer Infant My Bath Seat is an absolute must-have. It's made bath time a breeze and earns a well-deserved five stars!" This bath seat has truly made a positive difference in our bath time routine, and I highly recommend it to other parents!

My main concern for a bath chair was sturdiness and this has worked wonderfully. Very secure ‘arms’ with large suction cups that adjust to fit your tub. Chair is still pretty lightweight and easy to take in and out.

Love this bath seat I got this once my tried to stand up in those typical baby bath tubs it keeps her seated and had plenty of room to wash their whole body super easy to put in the tub and is super stable the suction cups are super strong I have zero worries about the seat moving around

Bought for my now 10 month old when she was 6 months or so. She was crawling and obviously sitting up on her own, I was trying to find a good bath seat. This was one of the few I saw that stuck to the bath and I liked the idea of that. I’ve never had any problems with it moving or sliding while it was installed in the bath. It can be a little annoying to take out and put back in over and over, if you share a bath with your kid. But other than that I would recommend this bath seat to anyone who is interested. I will add my baby is on the skinnier side in her legs/ thighs. If you have a little chunky baby, I would just keep an eye out where their thighs go. Just to make sure it’s not tight or anything. We did just stop using this at 10 months like it says.

I was a bit skeptical to get a bath seat that had the leg holes since I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money for only a couple of months of use but this is perfect! I’ve used it almost everyday for a month now and both my daughter and I love it. My daughter is measuring average for her age and I started using this when she was 7 months old and she still has so much room left to grow a month later. The supports lock in place exactly as they should and I feel safe that she won’t be able to get out on her own. The only downside to this is it’s a little hard to get around their lower stomach area but not terrible. I have a very small bathroom but all of the support arms can fold back in for easy storage and takes up less room than my newborn seat. 10/10 wiggle worm baby approved!

We absolutely love our Ingenuity baby bath seat! It makes bath time so much easier and gives us peace of mind knowing our little guy is safe and supported. It’s sturdy, easy to clean, and keeps him comfortable while he splashes around and has fun. One of our favorite baby purchases for sure! 🛁💙

Absolutely life saver. This works so well now that we have two kids. Allows us to bathe them both at the same time and make our night routine much easier.

We got this bath seat because my 97th percentile 6 month old outgrew the popular angel care bath seat before he was steady enough to sit in a slippery bath on his own. The other bath seats on the market for larger babies have bottom suction cups that don’t work in tubs with textured bottoms. That basically left us with no other option than this bath seat. I was relieved to find it and it worked fantastic for what we needed. However, after about 4-5 months of use we have had to throw it out for major molding. If I’m being completely honest, we did not take it out to dry after every single bath because 1) it takes effort to install and 2) there’s not really a convenient way to dry it off anyways. It’s not like we left it submerged in water for long periods of time or anything. Us leaving in it a well ventilated bathroom tub after use is honestly no different than us taking it out and setting it on the bathroom floor to dry. Unless the expectation was that you are manually drying every crevice after use, I think this seat unfortunately just grows mold. There’s also no way to hang it on the shower wall without a hook and it weighs a good amount as well. I have cleaned it occasionally to the best of my abilities, but this thing has so many nooks and crannies that it’s impossible to fully clean every part of it. I set out to give it a good scrub yesterday and that’s when I discovered black mold all over the bottom, all over the inside of the suction cups (all the way back to the screws where it’s impossible to get to), and all over the expanding arms when twisting them out fully. The worst part was that from the outside, you could barely tell. All I’ve been able to think about was that my baby’s bath water was mixing with mold for who knows how long since all of that grew inside of the seat in places people don’t usually think to clean. If you’re going to get this seat, plan to thoroughly dry it after each use and consistently check underneath, inside the suction cups, and expand the arms fully to check if mold has grown deep inside. Really bummed because the actual design of the seat itself was the only one I could find on the market that could accommodate a baby over 20lbs without needing a completely smooth tub.

I’m so glad I ought this baby bath seat. It’s so secure and gives me peace of mind that my baby won’t slip in the water. I would recommend this seat if your baby isn’t able to sit on their own

I love the arms that secure the seat into the tub, I like that they twist opposite directions so they basically tighten the opposite arm as you turn them. The arm on the back I found a little difficult to secure but the wall of my tub that it secures against is on a bit of an angle, which may be the issue. It didn't make a difference once the other arms were secured though, the seat wasn't going anywhere and I tugged on it pretty hard to make sure it was secure. My son (6 months) sits in it easily and comfortably, with room to grow. He loves being able to sit up and splash in the tub while I get him clean, and this seat definitely makes bath time easier for both of us.

Great bath seat. Sturdy, very safe. Would be nice if the seat was a bit less slippery.
