Will this work to co-witness on a AR with flip up sights?

Yes but you need to make sure you know your measurements. Measure from the rail to the center of the peep on your rear iron sight and then measure from the rail to the center of your red dot to get the height you need. Example: The center of my irons is roughly 1.5" above the rail and the center of my red dot is roughly .5" above the rail so a .5" "saddle" or "ride" height would be the right height to co witness my sights.

Anyone use this to co witness something along the lines of a fieldsport red dot?

I have this with a field sport red dot on my m&p sport 22 and it works great

Can it be installed on the Weaver rail?

It does not fit the Weaver rail on a Ruger 10/22. The mounting screw is too wide to fit into the slots on the rail. Assuming that Ruger uses a standard rail, the seller appears to be wrong.
