Quick Fuel 36-E85QFT Echecker-E85 Fuel Test Tube

This is a very use full tool to measuring the ethanol content of fuel. My only complaint is that it is metered from 70 to 100%. I would prefer it metered the whole way so I could test any level of ethanol more accurately. I plan on mixing E85 with E10 to make E47-E60 mixture.

The tester worked well but after adding the prescribed water and E85 and then shake well and then wait a few minutes to see the separation I recommend a turkey baster to draw E85 from my fuel container for sampling purposes.This was all I needed to give me the confidence my tune will be fine and the car running great.

Haven't tried it yet. However after looking at the label, I realized it was on upside down. I carefully peeled it off and positioned it the correct way. Not sure if it will stay. Time will tell. I'll give it 5 stars if it doesn't peel of in the next few weeks.

I actually did not receive the testing kit from the Amazon store that I ordered it from. The item was lost in the mail. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with the store itself and said so in my review of the store. However, in regards to the testing kit itself, it works as advertised. The only thing that could make this kit better would be to include some droppers to suck the fuel up and squirt it into the tester. In order to put the fuel in you either have to improvise and use a turkey baster or something else, or buy the droppers separately. Some other kits do come with the droppers. However, once you get the fuel into the tester, it works perfectly and gives a very accurate readout.

Works exactly as described. This is an absolute necessity if you've tuned your non flex fuel vehicle to run on E85 and have to stay on top of the blend.

Used one time and plastic scale melted of from the fuel tube

I needed a new tester for my racecar and this one fits the bill. Very accurate and doesnt use much fuel pr water for results.

Very disapointed, 1st the graduated scale on it is upside down and 2nd it's not even printed on the tube, it's just a sticker... which in this case was not put in the right direction and is making this tester completely useless
