Great for outdoor projects and events
This double table set is very versatile and easy to transport. It has features I didn't expect that offer plenty of options. Although the picture showed two tables I couldn't tell from the description if you got both or had to buy two (which would have been pretty expensive). Luckily, you get both little tables in the set and when the legs are collapsed, they fit together like a narrow suitcase with a handle. Since the combined unit is lightweight, it's ideal to take to outdoor parties where you have to walk to your spot, plus it sure is easy to pack in the car. When the attached legs are pulled into open position, they make the tables sitting-on-the-ground height so they are great for blanket picnics or offer a place for the kids to color and play with tiny toys. Leg extensions are held in clips under the tables. When they are removed and screwed into the attached legs, they bring the tables to serving height. If you remove the short leg extensions on the bottom of the leg pieces, the table is dinner table height. One thing I particularly like is that if the ground is not level you can adjust the legs by unscrewing an extension a tiny bit to suit an uneven surface. Way better than a matchbook under a leg. The two little tables can be used separately or together. If you want to join them, there's a little bag permanently attached underneath that holds two gadgets, each of which secures two legs together. This gadget loosens and tightens by a wing nut. It's pretty easy to put on and remove and does a good job. When taking the tables down these extra pieces can be put away in their sturdy little Velcro closeable bag again and are always at hand for future use as are the leg extensions. Probably the hardest part of returning the tables to carrying/storage mode is hooking the two table tops together so they form the outside of the 'case'. You have to have them facing properly so the hooks engage and lock the sides together, then there are thumb latches near the carrying handle to complete the job. Makes a nice package with all the extra parts securely inside where nothing will be lost. While the collapsed unit is easy to store, I suspect I'll keep it set up out at the barn where I can use it to hold various tools, etc. when working on things. Because each table is narrow I can put them against the side wall where they won't take up my shaded work space like a square table would. I'm really pleased with this purchase.

Sturdy, practical, versatile, portable
This is a must have item for camping. Many reviews have mentioned that the tables aren't very stable when at their tallest position and this is mostly true but as long as you are realistic about where (not on rocks or a slope) you put the table and what you are going to use it for (not a really heavy item), then you will be happy. If you want them at their highest and to be very sturdy, make sure to put them together and you will be happy. This is a simple scientific concept and one can't expect a portable camping table to defy the laws of physics. That said, in all other positions, the tables ares VERY sturdy, practical, versatile, and portable. I always use them separately. I like to use the shortest setting on one table as a place to sit on when putting on shoes etc... inside the tent. It can also be used this way to of course put things on like a tent heater so it's not on the floor but not too high or close to the tent walls. You can also use one when at the lowest setting to put your snacks, drink, and smores on next to your chair when enjoying your camp fire. Our camp chairs are low to the ground making this an ideal match of table and chair. And yes, I said I sit on them when in their lowest position. They are that sturdy and strong. I could of course go on about all the ways we use these tables in the various heights while camping (food prep, eating, sitting on, keeping things off the ground etc...) but we also use them around the house for projects. Plus, because they pack flat and small, and weigh practically nothing, they are easy to store anywhere until needed again. Keep them in your closet or your garage. A wonderful item if you keep your expectations realistic, not low. In fact, they exceeded my expectations considering how little they weigh.

Good camping gear
This is a versatile and practical table for camping, or pretty much anywhere for that matter if you're looking for an inexpensive fold-up table. In my experience, I bought this item and used it the entire 2013 summer for camping. It served as a "kitchen" table, dishwashing table, computer desk, nightstand, food prep, and even bread dough kneading surface. As in the description, it can be configured several ways to suite your needs. The legs are collapsible and are easily stored under each table section. And, each leg is adjustable to help level out on uneven ground/surface. I'm restating this part of the description because this the key selling point in my opinion. Because of the different variations I've used in my experience with this table makes it a must-have item for long term camping. The table is light weight enough, but not something for backpacking to be sure. It's not going to take the place of an oak dining room table either, so don't expect that kind of stability, or load bearing. And, speaking of that, keep in mind that putting a heavy object on top of the table, such as a full dish basin, will make the table top heavy when used with the full length of the leg sections. The legs will have a "wobble" under a load, but I stabilized the legs with paracord. This is simply done by taking lengths of paracord and securing each leg to one another at the middle screw-in attachment on 3 sides of the table, leaving the 4th open for storage access under the table. A simple loop in the cord and a GENTLE tension is all that is needed. The cord also made it easy for hanging a dish cloth, or any other small wet item. Doing this did not harm my table in any way, but use common sense as with anything. This is not a heavy duty item and the lightweight metal and plastic hardware is not meant for such. Also, don't set hot, off the stove pans on the table surface. Again, common sense. The table is not a cooling rack. Nor is the table a cutting board. I used lightweight, semi rigid plastic mats found here on Amazon, but also used simple folded parchment paper for my cutting needs and food prep. This is a Coleman product - a household name in outdoor gear. I don't like everything Coleman makes, but the majority of their products I find to be good as a low cost alternative, and in many instances, better performing items than much more expensive brands. This table served me all summer long at a base camp. It will for you too.

Buy and use with Caution !
Just opened box. Very very disappointed. I thought the photo (you have to really enlarge it to see this) of the product indicated a metal table. Ordered to use cook stove on top of. It is some kind of covering with gray/white design. Doesn't look safe for hot things/stoves, etc. Very wobbly as stated by others. Wanted to use outdoors for stove in hot weather so not to heat up RV. Would use for other things but is just too unssteady. It would seem easy to knock over indoors or outdoors. Not certain if I'm going to keep and try work-around, or return. Easy to put together, very lightweight. Attractive style and coloring. Certainly is not up to Coleman quality standards. I will try them for a few days then reevaluate. Also, there are crossbars on the ends of each table in the photo but not on the table themselves. Did I even receive a Coleman product? Very worrying. And the prices seem to change by large amounts every day or every other day, it seems. That is strange as well. Am I really on Amazon dot com? 22 June 2017 - This is an update and upgrade to previous note. I live fulltime in RV. These are so great for all kinds of things indoors. I found if you set up against a cabinet or wall for support, they are very stable. Recently took one over to a cousin's home -- super easy to set up, take down. Removed the 4inch sections (love that you can store leg parts under the table so don't get lost.) put the table in fromt of his sofa and was perfect height for lunch and seemed much more stable than when table was at full height at 31 or so inches. I have a typical RV bed, higher that one in S&B home. THis table at full height is slightly higher that my bed which is also a sosfa in daytime. Now I have a table at great position for reading, eating, computer work, etc. Once I discovered that use, the tables became my best "friends". The top is a kind of heavy material like vinyl so should not place anything hot on it. There is a metal rim around the entire table. On the top surface of the table, where the rim adjoins the top, there is the tiniest space or potential space which can collect grime and dirt despite rigorous cleaning. To prevent that collection, I place to find an appropriate product and seal the entire perimeter where the rim meets the table. All in all, the table seems quite well built and should stand up to careful use through the years. there are no sharp metal edges, everything seems well finished off. I'm still disappointed not te be able to use for stove. One caveat - if used outdoors, or indoors as a freestanding element, it would be best if there are no children nor adults drinking alcohol or anyone who has unsteady gait. These table are lightweight (definitely a plus for RV folks) and can be knocked about easily and things on surface may be knocked off and liquids spilled, etc. I have 2 young cats but they don't bother the tables with the usual feline snoopiness. But that might be an issue with others. There are 2 "clips" that come with the tables, contained in a little black velcroed bag permanently attached to the underside of the table with the handle on it. However, my little black bag was empty and I'm having quite a time trying to find where to alert the seller to ask for replacements. If, heaven forbid, these tables were stolen, i would certainly reorder them. There are no directions for separating these tables. They arrive in a close fitting box which I saved to used for protection when travelling. Basically, take the pair, lay them on a horizontal surface with the table with the black handle on the top. there are 2 little flip levers, one on each side of the handle - slide them to a horizontal position (lined up with the black handle) very gently grasp the pair of tables one hand on each end of the tables. Unsing your thumbs, gently press on the front of the upper table and push gently backward - OR Using your thumbs, gently press on the back of the lower table and push forward. They will just slidde apart. And putting them back together takes about 2 econds and burns no calories at all. They are infinitely useful for so many projects, etc and when used with care and caution, should provide great satisfation for a very long time. Now if I could just get those leg clips replaced........

Great Camping Table
This little guy is the more versatile, more portable cousin of the folding table. It's really two different tables. They are fine setup on their own (two tables), side to side (square), or end to end (long). They can also be set to different heights, which makes for a nice display. It's also nice and portable. The table legs fold up underneath like a standard folding table, but since it's two different tops, they nest together to make it a nice size to fit in the back of your car, truck, or camper. The down side is while a folding table may take literally take only 10 seconds to setup, these need a few minutes for setup / take down. It's not complicated, but each of the legs has to be screwed together and then into the table top. I highly recommend buying this product if you need a portable table for just about any reason. Setup / tear down isn't so bad that it would be too much trouble on a picnic, and it's sturdy enough to leave outside for a few days while camping. The fact that it can be setup at a single table with two different heights, a single long table, or as two separate tables makes it nice for a portable display table if you sell stuff a fairs and markets. That said, too many compromises were made keeping it light and portable to make it a good choice for home or seasonal use. If you want something for around your house, I would suggest a basic folding table unless you're really tight on space. It sets up faster and cost less. If you want something to be outside all summer, you'll probably want something that can hold up to the elements better. Coleman probably could have made a table that would work for everybody, but that would cost a lot more money.

Portable office space - for dog shows!
Here in the southeast, many fellow competitive AKC Obedience and Rally Exhibitors bring these tables to dog shows, to set up over top of dog crates, and thus create a multifunctional, portable work space - for studying Rally maps, or recording scores in record books, or holding equipment, or even being a lunch table. I purchased mine partly with an Amazon Gift Card given to me as a dog show Judge gift, and have used my tables now for dog shows in 9 different states! These are simple to assemble (the legs tuck in on the bottom side of each table), and can be arranged as a square card table, or two long tables, or even a T or L shape, depending on the size of your dog's crates and your seating choices. Once they are taken down, they attach to one another, and are light enough to carry one handed, with the built in carry handle. I've been competing in Obedience trials for 16 years, and am always pleased to discover an item that helps make my time at a dog show more comfortable. It takes less room to pack than a 36" soft crate (and weighs less), and usually gets placed over top of my 2 crates, so it occupies the same floor space while giving me a good surface for my trial gear (armband, treats, dumbbell, article bag, extra leashes, training and trial record books, and so on). It's sturdy - no more spilling coffee on a crate top when the resident canine has a good scratch or ear shake. And, my husband and son have taken it on several camping trips without our dogs, where it performed perfectly according to its original purpose, as a camp table. Highly recommended!

Versatile camp surface
This table has filled a variety of our camping needs. In the square configuration, it serves well as our kitchen supporting the weight of our stove leaving plenty of prep space and later in the night provides a great card table. Though stoves are not recommended, our Coleman Classic propane stove does not get hot on the bottom works great on this table. So far the only use we have had for the long configuration is beer pong. The legs fold into and the extensions/clamps attach nicely on the bottom side of the table tops which assemble into a suitcase with a convenient carrying handle. The leg extensions thread together and we were recently delighted to find we could fine adjust the height of each leg using the foot piece to level the table on the uneven surface of our camp site at a music festival. I would recommend putting the foot on the longer leg extender as we saw little need for using the short extender alone and makes it easier to switch between the two tallest configurations. Due the light weight, stability and modularity - this table earn 5-stars.

Really great tables! However, pretty darn delicate...
The tables are really a nice concept, just not executed so well. I've now used them on two short camping trips and the main problem is the super-thin, fragile plastic corners. All of the material is very lightweight. It's nice that they're so portable, however all of the material used requires a lot of care if you want the tables to last. The plastic looks like they're injection molded and there's no reason these pieces should be so thin by design. They're about the thickness of plastic milk jug caps. I'm pretty careful with my gear and bought these things for use with our RV. If someone's buying them to throw in their trunk, or in with other gear, the tables will not last very long. The corners actually tear. There are positives, though! All of the legs have small adjustments for uneven ground and the legs can be lengthened or shortened by adding or removing the extensions. The clips that keep the two tables together actually do a nice job. The tables do fold into a very compact space and they're actually pretty darn nice looking. Adding another pound worth of material to these tables for more durability would have me probably giving these things 5 stars! I'm guessing I'll get a couple more trips with them before I 3D print some new corners.

Good and versatile product.
Excellent product which is very versatile and can be used at multiple heights. A bt expensive as all Coleman products in india are. But definitely a good product.

Love how light these are and easy to move.
We bought this to use in our travel trailer and while camping. Split apart the tables make good end tables with the short legs, we use the linger legs for an outdoor counter space and have used inside like a TV tray. They are very lightweight and easy to keep clean. We store them in a large pillow case so the tops don't get scratched.
