Radar Mount Mirror Mount + Mirror Wire Beltronics Radar Detectors - Vector RX65 STI Magnum (3001101B)

Don't know what took me so long to buy one of these! It really works great, and now I don't have to fight with the cord all the time. The closest accessory outlet on my 2015 Ford Edge SEL is on the passenger side of the car, and my wife often covers the cord with her purse. Not to mention, it's a long stretch to put the radar detector on the windshield. The mount is very good quality, looks nice, and seems to be adjustable enough to fit most any application. My mount installed just as pictured in the stock photo. The mirror wire tap also works very well. The wires plugged right into the harness, and are snug enough that they probably won't come out on their own. Just the same, I used the included zip ties to prevent them from slipping out, and to tidy up the installation. My auto-dimming mirror has a wire that turns on & off with the vehicle, so while I leave the radar detector in the mount, I don't have to worry about power. The only negative aspect I can see so far is that it is just a little difficult to remove the radar detector from the mount, but not difficult enough to prevent me from loving this product. Definitely recommended!

I still really love the Blendmount design but it's twice the cost without twice the functionality (again, if you really want the best I'd stick with Blendmount). This mirror mount came with two sets of hex bolts, one being much longer, in case you have a thick mirror stem. The included mirror tap prongs fit perfectly into my Gen 4 Subaru Outback powered rear view mirror. Remember that the prongs are oval shaped, not round, insert the prongs so the skinny/flat side can slip in, otherwise it'll get stuck.

The bracket construction are great, tha radar detector don't move even when I transit on irregular surfaces. My only concern was the cable are to short and I had to add few inches to reach my 12v mirror plug.

The radar detector holder is perfect but I hooked up everything right but my RD keeps saying there is a laser in the area, so I took it off and hooked up to my 12v cig adapter in back of my X7 and it stopped going off.. So I’m guessing something up front is causing it to go off… I have a Beltronics RX65… Ugh

This is a very well built product. I put it in a 2021 gmc at4. Very easier to install and looks great. Would def recommend this product.

Its everything I needed. Popped the mirror shroud off, used my volt meter and found the correct wires and installed the harness. I did read where others had problems with the wire install, but it was easy for me. I just used a volt meter and pair of needle nose pliers and had no problems. After that, the mount easily tightens down on the mirror and it’s a wrap. It holds well, no shaking or wobbling. The only thing I would like to see is it be able to mount tighter to the mirror to give it a cleaner look, however I think also depends on how the mirror is designed. I would recommend it!

I just finished installing this mount and mirror wire to my 2013 GMC Sierra. The mount fits perfectly and the wire works like a charm after you connect the positive (red) to pin 13 and your negative (black) to pin 8 in the connector in the back of the mirror. I couldn't be happier, considering that another internet company sells their "Standard Series" mount for $98.99 and their "Mirror Tap" wire for $39.99. That's $100 more for basically the same thing!
