The main body of the system has 1 CD holder, am/fm radio but if you buy the smaller box that this sits on as pictured, doesn't that hold more CD's?

The lower section is a device to enable wireless connection. It has nothing to do with CDs and won't hold any. The main portion is the same.

Can you connect a cd player to the bose soundtouch 30?

Yes, you can! The SoundTouch 30 has a 3.5mm auxiliary jack on the back where an external device, such as a CD player, can connect. Thank you for this great question!

It's compatible with iPod?

Great question William! The Wave SoundTouch Music System has a 1/8" (3.5 mm) stereo input connection so that you can connect any audio device into the system! This system also has Airplay so that you can play directly from many compatible Apple devices over your Wi-Fi network.

Can I plug in my headphones?

Yes if your headphones have a 3.5mm Male plug for the Bose headphone outlet. If you have the large 1/4" 6.35mm male headphone plug then buy a Headphone Adapter Jack with 1/4" 6.35 mm Female and 3.5mm Male Plug ends.
