Can you use this medium for dendrobium/paphs and violets?

Hello, yes this mix can be used for dendrobium/paphs and violets. It contains an equal mix of peat moss and perlite, which would work well for either plants.

Is this good for rooting phalenopsis?

I have never planted phalaenopsis but I am sure it should be good enough.

What is the best way to water my orchid now that I have potted it in this mix?

Hello, thank you for your question. Only water the orchid when the top of the soil feels dry. You can water from the top of the soil. Allow water to drain out completely from the bottom. Do not let the plant sit in the water. You can also bottom water the plant, allow the plant to sit in water for 10 min or until top soil seems moist. You can then remove the pot from the bottom tray/saucer, throw away water in tray/saucer and place pot back onto tray/saucer. Another method to know when to water is the weight of the pot/plant. Feel the weight of the container; it will be heavy. Feel the difference between a freshly watered plant and one that has gone without water for a few days. As the potting mixture dries out, the planter gets lighter. The weight of the pot is an indicator of whether your plant needs water or not. Also, you can stick your finger down into the bark—go about two inches—if it's dry two inches down, it's ready for water. Hope this helps, BV

Is this all you need for repotting anthium?

Yes, this Baby Violets soil will work for Anthium plants. They like loose and well drained soil. This soil mix contains coarse perlite, which will work well for providing adequate drainage to your anthium plants.

Product was just what I needed

I used this product to supplement the potting soil I received with an orchid from a florist. It had arrived with a lot of potting soil missing. The potting soil I ordered arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed. My potted orchid has been very happy since adding the potting soil.

Plants doing great with this soil.

Got this mix for an Easter Lily plant that needs very similar soil. It was a gift for a friend so I wanted to make sure it did well. Her plant is doing great!

Good soil.

The directions for wetting the soil are way too generous.

Very small amount

Quality seems fine, but the amount you get is so small. I’m including a photo that I think would have been helpful to me in deciding whether to make this purchase.
