Love this fountain! Pump and lights all work great. Saw some reviews that complained of splashing outside of unit, which didn't occur for mine and I had the pump lever slid to the max setting...but you can decrease the output if needed. Very relaxing trickling sound of water, which is the reason I wanted it. Very confused by the negative reviews that complained of the running water sound because what would you want a water fountain for besides this? Wanted in my bedroom for sleep and the LED lights (3) were somewhat bright (not a bad thing) so I put some colorful glass marbles in the little pools to color and filter the light. Can't wait to go to bed and experience the ultimate relaxation.

This is a beautiful quality fountain that is a conversation piece in any home. The construction looks very much like weathered wood and the lights give the impression that the water is cascading down like a waterfall rather than just a stream of water. A calming and illuminating piece. Also Alpine customer service was superb in their immediate remediation of an issue I had. I highly recommend this fountain as it is indeed a true find.

I love the way it looks. I like the water sound. The only problem is that the sound of the pump motor is just as loud as the water trickling. It's rather annoying. Is this what others are calling 'a quiet motor'? If I have a bad motor, it would be nice to know. I like the fountain enough that I'm tempted to just buy another motor, but the thought of taking it apart and trying to install a new one makes me cringe. 11/5/22 Update. I've had this in my office since the purchase for no other reason that I've not had the desire to bother with another motor. I have used it on and off since then. I've had to knock this down to a single star, though. The main reason is leaking. It's leaked a few times now. The leak split my $50 wood tray that I bought for the fountain. I can glue that, so it's not that big of a deal, but it's frustrating. See attached photo. You need a flashlight to look into the reservoir to be able to see at what level the water is at. There is no marker so you really don't know if you're at the right level or over the level. This just isn't worth the hassle. It looks great, but the functionality is subpar at best. I've decided to try a fountain that has a separate reservoir where I can simply lift the fountain off of the bowl when needed and can easily see the water level. This fountain is a single moulded piece with a tiny sliding door in the back that you can't even fit your entire hand into to reach the motor. I do not recommend this product, unfortunately.

This is incredible! I searched and searched and had the hardest time deciding what to get to go in my room that would go with the theme I'm trying to achieve. I debated long and hard between this one and another and after I set it up I know I made the right choice. I ended up opting for this one because of the price point as the other was 3 times higher. But I have to say this was definitely worth it tenfold. To be fair I got it on black Friday at a fraction of the cost but if you get it at full price, I don't think you will be disappointed. I can't tell you how much this makes my room so peaceful and relaxing. It just takes all your stress and worry away. The main reason I got this one is because of the natural look and wanting to bring some aspects of the outdoors into my room because nature is so peaceful and this certainly does that. I will say that it's made ok not super high quality but for the price it was worth it to me. It is a little bit heavy but for what it is, it's lightweight and somewhat big for a tabletop. But I wanted something big and this was a little smaller than I had expected. I thought the water pools would be a bit deeper but its only maybe about an inch to an inch and a half deep if that. I added some fish tank rocks in it, and most aren't covered fully with the water if that gives you some indication of how deep it is. The setup was a bit difficult as the pump and the plug and wire were all crammed into the back small opening and digging it out was worrying, I was afraid I might break something and trying to situate the pump and hose inside there was even harder. You need someone with small hands. When opening the packaging the Styrofoam was everywhere little bits and pieces all over it and a small little sliver of part of the fountain was laying on the bottom that may have broke off but I guess it wasn't anything of concern cause I don't have any leaks. I will say it is packaged really well with huge hard Styrofoam pieces hence all the bits all over it. Also the green coloring to make it look natural does rub off and tends to flake off and leave little dark grit around the fountain when you're moving it or touch it. The water tends to evaporate pretty quickly so I almost have to top it off every time I run it. But that may just be due to my environment. Its recommend to use distilled water which is what I use as well as fountain cleaner solution to put in it. They recommend their brand but I wasn't able to find it so I opted for something similar. This pump has a lot of power so keep it on low even on low it tends to splash out a small little mist in front but its barely noticeable and only feels slight damp to the touch and you cant even see any moisture unless you feel it. Last but not least the best thing of all is the sound which makes it all worth it in my opinion. It honestly sounds like a little stream running through my room. The water is not super loud but you can definitely hear it. You can slightly hear the pump humming at first but after a while you don't even notice it because it's so quiet. One other thing I'll mention is there is no on/off switch so you have to plug and unplug it when using it. I decided to use a smart plug with it to make that less of a hassle. So with all that said I absolutely love it even with the little issues.

The good: ... First of all, it works great! The lights were far too bright, but disconnecting them was as easy as just disconnecting the light connector. This is personal preference, so others might like the lights. It's very quiet. You have to have your ear within a few inches to hear the motor. ---- Now, for the issues: ---- This fountain deserves 5 stars, so that's what I am giving it as a product review. That said, something shady went on with this before I received it. .... It was used. I don't just mean someone tried it out, it didn't work or they didn't like it so they returned it. This was actually used. They tried cleaning the tubing but there was hard water debris still on it. There was still water in the pump casing, too. There was even a broken piece of some decoration that did not come from the fountain. .... My theory is this was either a store display that was boxed up .. OR .. The person who returned it only needed it for a decoration for a short while and returned it after. It's possible they broke it and returned it, too, because the lid on the motor casing is very loose and a piece of the plastic is bent. Honestly, I think they were refilling it or resetting the motor and broke it, then returned it for a refund by blaming the shop. ..... My question is: Why was this resold as a new item? No one had even gone through the packaging to determine it was still okay to resell. The parts weren't packed away. They were still set up. And again, water inside and a strange broken piece of something. --- Bottom line --- The fountain works great but whomever is responsible for receiving returned merchandise did a very poor job of looking it over before reselling. Buy at your own risk. The fountain is great but this shop, maybe not so much.

This Tabletop Fountain is beautiful and perfect for a small office. The water sound is really relaxing—though I’ve noticed some people either love it or don’t—but I personally find it soothing and calming. It’s a lovely little piece that adds a peaceful vibe to any space.

This is the third table top fountain that I have purchased but the first from Alpine. I was initially concerned that the three tiered design wouldn’t splash enough to calm my wife, who is in a care facility. The velocity is incredible, far from disappointing, beating out the five tiered unit it was replacing. With that, oversplash was also a consideration — the previous two splashed beyond the 18” tray I set to catch what was still quite a lot. The design directs water flow so that, even at higher setting, any water loss is imperceptible. Additionally, the lighting is dramatic yet calming, especially as a night light, the rippling effect through water causes a dancing display on the ceiling. Tremendous value.

I’ve bought various tabletop and larger waterfalls over the years and this one is the BEST by far! Easy to assemble with clear instructions, including water and pump maintenance, with a very relaxing water sound and no pump noise at all. The lights look great at night in a dark room. 100% satisfied and highly recommended! As far as the negative reviews, unfortunately on occasion there may be shipping damage depending on how the package was handled. Mine arrived in great condition with no damage. The pump noise should NOT be heard and before returning this product, carefully read the instructions to make sure the pump is pushed to the bottom of the water reservoir and then fill up with 0.4 gallons or 6 cups of distilled water. If the pump is NOT fully or is barely submerged in water, it will make noise. If the pump is still noisy after carefully following the directions, the pump is likely defective. ENJOY!!!

the pump stopped working after a few hours of use

I really wanted to like this product, but unfortunately it had to go back. Positives: • Beautifully built—it looks and feels like a natural part of the environment. • It isn’t heavy, but visually it looks like it would be, which is a nice surprise. • Every component, including the motor and accessories, feels high quality. • Very well packaged, so there’s little risk of receiving a damaged item. Negatives: • The main reason for my purchase was to create a calm, zen atmosphere with the sound of flowing water. Unfortunately, the motor’s whining noise is too pronounced and completely drowns out the subtle water sound. Because this defeats the primary purpose of the product, it was a deal-breaker for me. I’ll update this review with a video. • The instructions need significant improvement—they’re unclear and hard to follow. • Be careful not to set the flow controller too low, as the motor won’t function at all. Also, the flow controller itself is difficult to find unless you look very closely.

It looks good and is very quiet.
