Essential Oils Pocket Reference 8th Edition - FULL-COLOR (2019)

Book is printed on quality, high-gloss pages and is just stunning to look look through. Thumbing through it reminds me of an old-school encyclopedia; even smells like one. My copy was complete with no printing errors; other reviews reported issues but it looks like that has all been fixed.Lot's of great content describing Essential Oils origin, production techniques, along with their usage, and medical benefits. I wish there was a sneak peak to the table of contents to help with my buying decision; I've included picture of the TOC to help. I like that this book describes the uses/benefits of individual oils, and oil blends. I also like the inclusion of the "Personal Usage" section that has a directory of disorders and what to oils to use as remedies.There is a lot of reference to Young Living products which includes single oils along with oil blends and personal care products, but you can use this as a guide for your own recipes as they list the ingredients in these products. For true recipes I recommend the book "Oil + Glass". It has recipes organized in categories based on usage. There are recipes in this book, it's just not a book of recipes.Overall it looks like a great resource. Just know that it looks like Young Living produced this book as a resource to educate their customers on essential oils, so they do reference to their product line.

This is an excellent reference that I highly recommend for anyone wanting to know more about the power of essential oils with a very good detailed introduction on the topic, a breakdown of many oils with great detail on each, and how best to apply. This book also weaves in Young Living and its founder which has been a leader in top-class quality oils.A small meaningless side note. I have been looking for this book at a price I can afford. If it is still available for around $20, Grab It! It's worth every penny. It's too bad some people are selling this for exorbitant prices and I wish there were more copies of this book available. It is excellent to learn how to use Young Living Essential Oils.

This book is a must for anyone using essential oils. It tells about the different oils. You can also look up by your situation. If you have a cut, cold, cough, etc. what oils should you use.

I love the book but miss the colored photos. It was easier to identify the plant with colored photos vs black and white....otherwise the book is loaded with info!!

Its awesome, everything u need is in it, but its small maybe u need glasses to read it, thats sad.

I use Young Living oils. This book is an excellent resource to have and to learn more about the oils. I’ve already used several remedies and have had great outcomes. I highly suggest getting this book. I like the larger desktop because it’s an easier read even though the size is bigger. I believe this book would be beneficial even to those who do not use the Young Living brand because it breaks down the ingredients and teaches you why the ingredients work on certain ailments. A lot of different brand oils use similar ingredients and I believe it’s a must have for all essential oil users, no matter what brand you are using!

Bought this as a gift and the recipient was extremely happy with this. It is a pocket reference, so it's a smaller sized book. But it was exactly what was needed!

Fantastic reference book, especially for Young Living essential oils. Wish I could of afforded the bigger size :)

I have this book on paper but this kindle edition is handy to have it with you all the time you need it.highly recommended.
