This is great!! We used this alot on holiday and have found some amazing bits. The sensitivity is great with the beeps getting more rapid the closer you get. Installing the battery is simple. It has a small bungee clip & expandable coil for the belt so it can be clipped to you at all times to avoid loosing it. I havent tested the waterproof quality of it, but it has been out in rain and is 100% ok. For starting out as just a pin pointer or using it alongside a metal detector this is great value for money.

I start this review having lost my garret pro pointer (in my home) lol So didn't want to spend much for a replacement untill I can locate my garret pro pointer. This pointer dies not pick up a signal as deep as the garret but will pick up a shallow surface find from around a depth of 3" . I found this actually to be a positive? Because with the garret I would locate the find the pin point the find with the GPP now that find could be over 5" or so deep , yes you got the vibration and sound to indicate roughly how deep the find is. This cheap one if it does not beep then I instantly know it's deeper than 3" so dig deeper from the get go, the use the pointer and if you hear a sound it's just like the garret and gets more intense beeping and vibration. I has a light and is bright orange , comes with a pouch to fit to your belt and a coil lanard so you don't lose it. It's not as sturdy as a GPP but for the money don't discount its value as an aid to help pin point a find. I have been detecting since the 70's and I recommend this pointer. I don't know how water proof it would be but I'm not going under water or laying it down in a puddle. It would I think be able to handle normal rain but if it's taking to hard I'm not going detecting lol. Worth the money 5 *****

For the price it’s a good bit of kit, however it does need to be very close to the object to bleep! Something in the ground over an inch or two buried it doesn’t pick up so not as accurate as perhaps you’d hope. . Easy to use and good quality especially for price. It is however ideal for finding dropped screws, nails jewellery etc!

It works, it will do the job, so for £15 it has to get 5 stars. How well does it perform ? well it's very basic with a slow beep and not the most sensitive, so it won't be as easy to locate small items as a more expensive one, so for me this is a cheap back-up for my detecting trips but I wouldn't want to use it all the time. It feels well made, however, I would not want to risk knocking it around, not for £15 and you should not expect a super tough reliable pinpointer at this very low price. I think the standard price is slightly higher, I had a small discount. You really should expect to pay more for a "good" pinpointer, so as previously stated, if it can do a job for £15 I have to give it 5 stars.

Do not buy this fake product it does not work whatsoever, makes lots of fake beepy sounds but using it over actual metal and over power cables doesn't trigger any warnings at all. It's extremely dangerous to use this dummy product thinking your going to drill into a wall with no pipes or wires then get shocked or cause a leak. Spend a little extra on a named brand stud finder.

Its a little hit and miss

For the price I wasn’t expecting much but this is simple to use, robust and works a treat. I lost my wedding ring while climbing with the likely area a wood covered in leaves and ivy. This worked really well at close work finding buried items as well. BUT after attaching it to a walking pole and using it to sweep the area like one of the detectors that cost a lot, I found my ring! Amazing. Now I have a useful tool for DIY and saved my marriage;-)

Prestazioni sul campo Il rilevatore svolge questo compito in modo egregio. Come si vede anche dal video allegato, ho contrassegnato con il pennarello i chiodi che sapevo già essere presenti — e il dispositivo li ha rilevati tutti senza esitazioni. Ma la cosa che mi ha convinto davvero è che ha individuato anche un chiodo che non sapevo ci fosse: esattamente il caso che volevo evitare, e il motivo per cui vale la pena avere questo strumento. Sensibilità: alta, ma gestibile La sensibilità è elevata: rileva anche le viti del banco da lavoro sottostante alla tavola che si sta controllando. Non è un difetto per il mio utilizzo — anzi, preferisco un falso positivo a un chiodo mancato — ma è un aspetto da tenere presente. Costruzione Certificazione IP66, corpo solido, allarme vibrazione utilissimo in ambienti rumorosi come l'officina. Comodo da impugnare anche con i guanti. In sintesi Se lavorate il legno da recupero e avete una pialla da proteggere, questo rilevatore è un acquisto che si ripaga alla prima lama salvata. Lo consiglio.
