I recently had the opportunity to try out the Nxtrnd mouthguard, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. These mouth guards are phenomenal. For context, I go through a lot of mouthguards because I have TMJ and chronically clench my teeth at night. And as an example, the last mouth guard that I used lasted exactly one month before I bit through it. This two pack is much sturdier. There was a lot of thick material still between my teeth and the guard even after fitting it to my mouth for both pieces. They're both thick and comfortable to wear. I will absolutely buy these in future.

Durable Functionality well Breathing good Quality decent

Mouth guard works as advertised. Great value. You get to mouth guards that are easy to fit for your mouth. They come with one case, that can fit both mouth guards. Right now I just keep one in at a time, for sanitary reasons. I use it daily for Brazilian jiu-jitsu class, which I train 7-8 times a week. THESE ARE DURABLE. Sometimes you have to fight through a rear naked choke or a triangle choke. You gotta bite down and grind it out. SAVE YOUR TEETH AND ENAMEL. BUY THESE MOUTHGUARDS. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I give this mouth guard a mixed review. For its function as a mouthguard, 3.5 stars. It's reasonably comfortable and you could get used to it as a sleep mouthguard. It's very straightforward to heat it and then mold it, but you should only put it in hot water for 10 seconds, not the 10-20 listed in the directions. I put the first one in the hot water for 20 seconds and it came out a loose floppy sticky mess of plastic and was useless. The second one I put in the hot water for 10 seconds which was about right, but then when I put it in the ice water as the last step, one side of it somehow got folded over on itself, and when I took it out of the cold water it was molded firm in that shape and was useless. So just be careful as you're molding it. Another thing to note, the mouthguard looks NOTHING like the photo on the webpage, it comes up high over your gums in the front and not as high but still up high over your gums on the sides.

I can't endorse this product because it is poor quality. I followed the directions flawlessly and both mouth guards curl in the hot water. Even after three attempts the mouthguard curled to an unusable state, and when pressed against my teeth it would not mold as advertised.

The molding process was very simple and the guard molded perfectly to my teeth! I’ve had other guards that never molded right and the only way they would stay put was if I clenched my teeth together. This mouth guard is very secure and doesn’t obstruct my breathing at all. I can talk and be understood (still sounds funny but that’s to be expected). Very good price especially for two guards. I’ve only used them twice so far, but if they hold up well after more use I’ll never buy another brand of mouth guard.
