I am a major transformers nerd and a card collector so when I saw the price for the value I knew I had to get it, and i am not disappointed. Amazing quality, wish I had someone nearby to play with!

I feel this game is more suitable to play with your family than most TCGs due to it's reliance on simpler mechanics. It does something similar to Vanguard and Gate Ruler with drawing cards on attack and defense to determine effects, but much more frequently, and has simple effects tied to these triggers. The rest of the game is equipping your bot with upgrades, which also give simple effects that boost attack or defense power. It's decently fun, albeit less strategy-intensive than most TCGs. That's all well and good, however... The characters included are Bumblebee, Megatron, Wingblade, and Starscream. They pitted the Decepticon leader against Bee. I checked where you get Optimus, and that's the Autobot starter. Idk why Megatron's here. Idk why Optimus isn't here if Megatron is. Idk why Bee has to fight him. But here we are. Megatron's not horribly overpowered, but he does have an ability in vehicle form that brings him a notch above the rest in here. I just don't understand the team composition of this set.

This is such a fun game. Saw them in the shelves in stores, but now the easiest place to get is right here on Amazon. Comes with easy to understand directions and can easily be adjusted to fit however you want to play. Kids love collecting their favorite characters.

The box was crushed and torn, damaged. This is supposed to be a gift and it looks like I got it from a junk sale.

Great starter kit. Bought so I could teach my wife to play, and it worked nicely. Would also work well for a childrens starter set.

Great set for an introduction to bvb the game, or to add to your deck building options.

It is a starter deck for tye transformers ccg. The printing on the card magically convey the awsome power of imaginary robots into your brain. They are sturdy and can be fluped 9r lifted with little effort. They are so light you can give your poolboy the day off and do it your self. Cards mix with existing card almost as if they were meant to be combined. Bumblebee looks a little constipated.k

Packaging got crushed in the transport so the box was ripped past wanting to keep it as a "collectible" but the cards were in really good conditions and they were ordered to play with them and not a "collectible" In the end I was happy with my purchase.
