It looks good on the countertop, perfect size, contains any odors, easy to clean, perfect really. Glad I bought it.

I purchased this last year in November and have had it now for over half a year. I love this compost bin. It works really well and is great at preventing fruit flies and smells in the kitchen. It has a double filtration system, a round 6.7 inch charcoal filter and a 5 inch square filter on top. Filters lasted me until last month before needing replacement. Really easy to clean and still no rust. The size is good too - can handle a lot of compost when we’re cooking big meals or hold two days of compost inside of it. Without a bag the smell can be a bit strong so I tend to line it with napkin scraps or paper scraps and try to empty it every other night.

This compost bin is very well made and works great for everyday use. It looks nice enough to keep right on the kitchen counter, which makes it easy to use regularly. It has not leaked or rusted and feels like a durable product. It also helps eliminate the typical mess and odors that can come with countertop composting. I purchased this bin to hold my compost waste until I was ready to transfer the contents into the large compost container that my HOA has set up for that purpose. When my bin was only half full, I noticed an odor emitting from the air holes in spite of the charcoal filters in place. I researched the purpose of the holes and learned they are to promote air circulation, which starts the composting process; however, I don't want this process to occur while the bin is in my home. Prior to this purchase, I used an old Xmas popcorn tin to hold my waste, and this worked perfectly even though the can was tin, and the lid was thin plastic. I detected odors only when I opened the lid to add more waste. Of course being tin, it rusted rapidly so I opted to purchase a bin designed for compost waste, and I found this one. But due to the odor situation, I decided to return this bin and look for a kitchen compost bin that did not have holes in the lid. After failing this, I replaced it with a 1.3 gal bathroom waste can with a plastic pail insert and a foot pedal with self-closing lid. I keep it on the counter and just press the pedal with a touch of my hand, and then drop in the waste. No odors at all. Problem solved. Other than this odor issue, the bin looks very nice and is definitely high quality. I don't understand how some people would get fly larvae inside their bins. Do they keep their windows/doors open? Mystery to me.

when laws in Calif changed and we now have to separate our organic garbage from the rest of the trash i didn't know what i would be storing my veggie peels, bones, used paper towels, etc in my kitchen that would be at least somewhat attractive, odor proof and really functional. i didn't want another plastic bin in the house! fortunately my daughter knew several of her friends have the EPICA compost bin and she recommended it to me. wow, it's great. it's sturdy, goes in the dishwasher and comes out sparking clean. there is absolutely NO odor due to the filter. i also ordered additional filters but have not had to change them yet. the pail is not too big or too small and it does sit on my kitchen counter looking shiny and proud. yes, i recommend this too.

I got this to collect compost inside my home for about a week before taking it outside, and it works really well for that. My AC runs all day, so I have not had any issues with odors or anything decomposing inside. It stays clean and manageable as long as I empty it weekly. It looks nice and the stainless steel feels like good quality. I also like that it fits easily in the kitchen without looking out of place. I clean it every week after taking the compost out, and so far no issues at all.

I love my new compostable bin. Never mind how happy I am now that we can compost at our new place, this compost bin makes the process so much sweeter because it's so convenient, it looks great and serves its purpose to the max! We got the copper color and it matches so well with our wood toned kitchen/cabinets. We put compostable bags inside the bin to help with clean up and still clean the inside of the bin once in a while and it's so easy! The best part is no odor because of the charcoal filter embedded on the inside of the lid. Those charcoal filters are also exchangeable and you can also find replacement on Amazon. I do wish but he bin was slightly larger since we produce a decent amount of compost with our home cooking and it fills up rather quickly, although I don't think a bigger bin would have the same aesthetic. So in the meantime, I'm happy to get my steps in and take out my compost every 2-3 days. Just an awesome product all around! Highly recommended.

I rarely write reviews for anything, but this is actually an excellent product. I was looking for a food waste bin for a while, after my old enamel one rusted through. This actually has enough storage space for a family who cooks, rather than lots of bins which would just be full up after one or two meals. It's stainless steel so should last already long time, and is pressed at one piece of metal rather than having a welded joint at the bottom that can fail. It also looks great, and it's just a very simple straightforward design which can't really go wrong

Arrivato errato, ho ordinato accciaio inox ed è arrivato verniciato esterno nero e con una piccola ammaccatura. Avevo deciso di tenerlo comunque ma in questi giorni ho notato che si sta scrostando la vernice sul fondo,dove appoggia,quindi ho deciso di renderlo .

Me gusta poner una evaluacion despues de haber usado el producto por unos meses. Este producto es una maravilla de muy buena calidad , se ve bonito en la cubierta de mi cocina y no ocupa gran espacio. Se lava muy facil con esponja y jabon. Me permite rapidamente hechar todas los residuos organicos de mi casa .El tapon con su filtro de carbon filtra todos los olores. Es suficientemente grande para varios dias. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
