Swim Cap Silicone

This swim cap is a great Value. The silicone is high Quality, and it has held up well after several uses. It provides a secure Fit for me (med-long hair) and does the trick every time I hit the pool(keeps the majority of my hair from getting wet). Very durable, and I highly recommend!

This swim cap does exactly what you want from a reliable brand like Speedo. The silicone material is soft and flexible, making it easier to put on compared to tighter latex caps. I will say that most of the speedo caps I got were OK so far. I wore this dark purple one once and this is what it did. I must have about 40 different colors from speedo and the black and the dark one seems to be having these problems. Not happy about it, big waste of money, and for someone on a fixed income, this stinks. I wore this one time which puts me out a very low rating of review. I just bought a new black one, so let’s see how long that one will last. the last 2 black ones I had did the same thing.

Update 12/25: Well, can it be any better?! Anticipating the other one to split open soon, and it surely did, much sooner than expected. Bought on Sept and split in Dec, after less than 30 uses. I get it, it is consumable and costs around a good sandwich, and it must be a business decision to get swimmers to buy them every 30 days of use, BUT, it is still a huge waste of resources! I am making mug coasters and cup holder lining with the material. Don't know if Speedo is listening to customer complaints or not, the two more I just bought before Thanksgiving (in anticipating to replace the just split one) seem to be thicker and sturdier, though still 2" smaller in circumference than the good'ol made in USA ones. Will see. Split open in 8 months and it was alternating with 2 other caps. Quality is not there, and sizing off, besides, Amazon (seller and shipper) listing says Made in USA, but in fact, in Thailand. Last time I checked, Thailand is not yet another US territory. I did have a US made Speedo cap, which lasted since before the COVID pandemic till this year, replaced by this one. This one has thinner material, sized smaller, compared to the US made one. I bet it is a business decision to make it this way so that keen swimmer like me would have to replace the cap every 3 months (this caps effective use).

Perfect fit, comfortable material, durable and keeps my hair protected. I swim regularly in a chlorine pool and find these Speedo swim caps to truly stand up to the constant use. Highly recommend. Note: I make a habit of rinsing my cap(s) after swimming in chlorine.

Kappe stinkt nach Schimmel oder totem Tier. Kann man nicht ertragen. Hoffe es ist nur ein Herstellungsfehler. Denn auch nach Seifenbad riecht sie nicht besser.

Tengo decenas de gorros, todos de silicona obviamente. He competido profesionalmente en natación y sin duda, por raro q parezca es el mejor gorro q he tenido. No sé si es el tipo de silicona, no sé qué es pero no se cae nunca, aprieta lo justo y la calidad es maravillosa. Una muy pero que muy grata sorpresa.
