Weber® Original Rib & Roast Holder, Gourmet Grilling

For a recent family trip, I was tasked with smoking 12 racks of baby back ribs in a 20" smoker, and these came through in the clutch! Sturdy and well made. And they are easy to clean. I was able to easily fit six racks of ribs in each (I purchased 2 of these) for the smoker and they came out perfectly. Highly recommend!

I bought this to cook ribs for a party I had and it worked perfectly. I was able to fit 6 racks of baby back ribs on this and probably could've fit a 7th if I needed to. Getting the ribs to lay properly was a little tricky because they kept trying to fall into each other, but once they cooked a little, it was all good. Ribs turned out great and I wouldn't have been able to cook them all without this product. It's also pretty easy to clean

There's nothing wrong with this rib rack from a quality standpoint. The construction is solid, the finish is good, and it fits my 24" kamado grill without any issues. The reason I'm a little lukewarm on it has more to do with how I cook than with the product itself. I bought it thinking it would let me maximize grill space and cook more ribs at once. In practice, I just never found myself reaching for it very often. Part of the issue is the geometry of a round grill. Since the rack spans across the cooking grate, ribs placed on the outer positions often need to be trimmed or shortened to fit properly. Full racks can become awkward, especially near the edges, and I found that a little annoying. The other factor is simply volume. Most of the time I'm not cooking enough racks of ribs to justify using a dedicated rack in the first place. For my typical cooks, laying the ribs flat works just fine. That said, I can absolutely see this being useful for someone who: * regularly cooks multiple racks at once * needs to maximize grate space * cooks for larger groups * wants better organization than stacking ribs For those users, this is a well-made version that should do the job nicely. My advice is simply to think about whether a rib rack solves a problem you actually have before buying one. If grill space is your limiting factor, this is a quality accessory. If you're like me and only occasionally need the extra capacity, it may spend more time in storage than on the grill.

It fits 3 racks easily in my Weber Kettle 22”, could add a couple more if you really wanted to. They do require a little bending to get them fitted and spaced evenly because the basket isn’t quite long enough to hold them straight all the way across. Not a big deal though, that smoke and heat will get in there fine. Does the job of getting another rack or two on my kettle so I’m happy. The metal is sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap.

I draped a brisket over this cause it was too big for my smoker. It worked like a charm. The piece of metal for the Weber logo is a bad design because it is a place for food bits to get stuck and it's hard to clean.

Got this for Christmas for my husband. It was a big hit. We have a tradition of making ribs for Christmas Eve (so of course I gave this to him a day early), and it made it much easier to do the ribs. We did 3 racks of ribs to feed everyone, and this product made it much easier (no more rotating the ribs every 30 minutes!). I was also surprised that it was pretty easy to clean afterwards. Win all around!

Unfortunately this rib rack will not support a full rack of baby back ribs. Would work great if you cut the racks in half but I smoke four racks of ribs at a time. Also it will not fit under the lid of the small Traeger when placed on the grate. It is such a nice item I will see if I can figure out how to make it work for me.
