Master Lock Resettable Word Combination Padlock, Locker Lock, 1534BLKEC

I’ve purchased several of these locks for the gates at my Airbnb rental. They’re very convenient, easy to open and close, and I keep a couple of spares in my car. Mine get a lot of use, so over time I do eventually replace them, but they’ve worked well for what I need.

Save your money. Horrible quality. Doesn’t actually lock. Only two of the letter wheels can rotate when it is “locked” and even those wheels are difficult to rotate. When it is “unlocked” it completely falls apart into all its component pieces. What a joke. Had one like it that I purchased in a store and loved it so ordered this one. Definitely not the same!

Looks like a sturdy lock for a locker. The directions should be read over carefully. Took a little time to get the directions straight but made sense after a few minutes. Just keep trying.

It works but feels pretty cheap. It doesn't allow you to spell out very many words. One security flaw in it is that you can easily break the plastic dials with a screw driver and some pliers without making much noise. One good thing about this lock over the regular Master combination locks is that it cannot be shimmed open like the originals.

I bought this to replace a padlock on a community locker that holds swim exercise equipment. The lock that was on there had numbers so tiny you needed reading glasses to see them. This lock is: 1. Easy to set. 2. Pick a word or number combo that is easy for you to REMEMBER! 3. The dials are large and easy to move and easy to see! Complaints- 1. Instructions could be better. I had trouble figuring out how to disassemble the lock. 2. It would be nice if one lock came with extra dials to give you more flexibility in setting your code. I had two locks so I was able to mix and match. I set one to a number combo and the other to an acronym. All and all- highly recommend.

Broke after 2-3 weeks of using it. Wasn’t easy putting it together or using it in general. Not worth the price to be completely honest. Not worth the headache.

Terrible. If you drop it when it's open all the pieces fly off and it's impossible to put back together again.

I wanted to make sure it went thru One winter, I use it outside. It caused zero issues still works fine
