The Elixir Arm Sleeves UV Sun Protective Arm Compression Cover Warmer Cooler

These are great for my use. I have a sleeve tattoo and these protect it from the sun very well. Had my doubts about the 'cooling' factor and the size. Almost instantly felt my arms cooling off. As far as sizing; with rather large arms they felt great after first use (started out feeling a little tight, but after 1 wear, conformed to a nice fit. Great product at a great price. PLEASE NOTE: A a former athlete I would not use these as 'padded protection' for football (which really inst't the intended use). Works great for my use or basketball or an extra layer against sliding on things like turf/AstroTurf.

These sleeves are top quality for the price point. They are extremely breathable and comfortable to wear once they are broken in. The durability is also superb, they will hold up to much abuse. I've been using these at work to protect my arm from sun exposure and scratches for my new full sleeve tattoo, and I will continue to use them to protect my tattoos from sun exposure. I would highly recommend these over any other products for protecting your arm, whether it be for tattoos or just to protect against sun burn, bug bites, etc. The only con I can come up with, is that one of the sleeves threading on the wrist portion pulled out comepletely. This is not something that I even have a complaint about though, because it hasnt affected the fit or functionality of the sleeve whatsoever, and im sure this is an uncommon issue. Overall; great sleeves with excellent color selection, great price point, awesome durability, and superb comfort and breathability. I will continue to buy this product, and would recommend it to anybody!

I have used this for 1 hot day and 2 stormy and cold rides. They do keep your arms colder and also protect you from sun burns (Puerto Rico all year long summer) and they do protect on rides at 70 - 75 degrees with the wind factor, could be lower but, again, Puerto Rico is not as cold as state side. The fabric is true black and when on the arm does not show skin in the light, but its very thin and does not have the plastic strip that could hold your Sleeves but only when on rainy days is proved to be necessary, also, in the picture there is a small logo on the wrist part, that must be a water mark because mine does not came with that. This sleeves are light as air and you can use it on wet/cold/hot rides, you won't notice you're wearing. Also, they don't look cheap.... I will gladly buy a pair down the road. I am a medium large (5'11" 230lbs) rider with a bit above average wide arms and it does fit very well. ***No five stars do to the thinner material compared to other brands at the same price level, no plastic band to hold the upper sleeve part, on adverse weather this proved to be a must, the logo in the picture is not really in the sleeves and have to burn some lose threats that were dangling from the seams.

By far one of the best arm sleeves I have owned. I buy them to cover tattoos at work and unlike most sleeves I have tried previously, these fit my entire arm perfect. They are pleasantly breathable and even the tan version do not show my tattoo work through the material. The tan is nearly skin color so I wear the tan most often and it doesn't look silly when playing the tattoo cover up game for my job. I also would like to rate them highly on durability. I do a lot of firearms training and shoot a lot of rifle from the ground. I have yet to rip or destroy a brand new sleeve easily. The ones I end up destroying are ones I have worn for a few months and retire them out of good use. The tan ones, over time do start to become dingy from dirt and grime of firearms (in my case) but for under 10$/pack its nothing to have a resupply ordered to the house again.

I purchased these compression sleeves for my husband. The blood pressure medicine he is on makes his skin very thin and easily damaged with the onset of UV rays. First of all he loved them. He is a bigger guy and they fit easily on him without rolling down. He said they were cool even when he was working out in 95 degree heat. And they seemed to ward any sun damage and even protected his thin skin from cuts and scrapes. However, after only wearing them twice he snagged one and it now has a hole in it. I would say they are ideal for someone not doing a lot of physical work but I think I'm going to have to find a little thicker version for my husbands line of play and work.

... they fit snug on ME. I do NOT have BIG powerful arms. IF I did, they MIGHT fit. If you're say a gymnast type or track and field, soccer player body type these should fit you just fine. They provide 'SOME" degree of compression depending on your personal needs. They got me over the top as the tendons on the inside of my elbows (golfer's elbow I've heard and seen it referred to in other reviews here) are problematic so I was having difficulty with lifting things. With these sleeves I have improved performance and ability in the use of my arms in general. These have given me a start. I found that they DO work to enough of an extent that I am now seeking apparel that provides greater compression concentrated in that area of concern for me. If you want a garment that looks good, feels good on your skin with a need for compression gear that provides a minimal amount of compression you can't go wrong with these.

I'm required to wear sleeves at work, and these are quite awesome. They definitely have a cooling effect, thought it's not quite as noticeable anymore as when I first bought them. Yes, they do run, at least one of my sleeves did, but it is only slight cosmetic damage and does not ruin functionality. These things looked small but stretch far enough to go from my wrists to my elbows. I do a lot of lifting and moving and they stay in place really well. Will likely buy another pair soon. As a side note, being outside in the sun, these get hot pretty quickly. The cooling effect only happens when there is some amount of wind, or when I go inside.

Crap for what I wanted. UPS driver,had skin cancer removed from left arm previously so wanted something more than sunscreen. Female so the small size was correct and long enough, bought the light gray color. It does not hold up under heavy duty use the seam by the wrist shredded and frayed the first day, had to keep pulling wrist area down it kept riding up, hot-hot-hot, stained easily after one use, hand washed and could not get the stains out. If your just doing some light duty gardening maybe, but for anything other would not waste $$$. As far as shipping it was fast, and I did not attempt to contact vendor or return so I can not make any bad remarks towards vendor.

Good fit for slim arms. Compact but material runs easily if it comes in contact with the Velcro (hooks) on cycling gloves

These sleeves stay up well and do seem to keep my arms cooler and is nicer than using sunscreen. I do wish they had more compression.

I love these! I got them for part of a costume but I can say that my arms actually felt cooler in temperature less than a minute after putting them on! They also stretch to the top of my arm. The picture with the sleeves laid out reflect their true colour. The picture with the sleeve on my arm shows how much it stretched (but it could actually stretch a little more if you needed it to). The picture with it on my arm turned out a little yellow-hued due to the angle and lighting, so refer to the other picture for actual colour.

Can be a bit tight if you have larger biceps, but a great product if you're out on the road for extended periods of time. An awesome way of avoiding a 'drivers' tan
