Static-Tac is specially formulated and has the right viscosity for adhering Static Grass and Briar Patch. It comes in a bottle with a graduated tip that works for large or small areas. Static-Tac is an easy to spread adhesive that dries to a clear matte finish for realistic results. Contents contains 12 fluid ounces. Made in the USA. There is something added to the glue as I can tell the difference when cleaning the brushes after application. It has a wax texture when cleaning, so soap is needed to help clean the brushes. Whatever is added sure makes a big difference to make the static grass stand upright, even the 12 mm grass which tends to go limp after application. For the tall grasses, I had to go over the grass a few times until the glue started to set, which was pretty fast. Glue sets fast enough that you can't do large area's, but I work on small area's approx 6 to 8 inches at a time or less then one square foot. The Static King hopper usually runs out of grass by then anyway. Review: works great! - came carefully packaged and has a great descriptive display on how to use it.

Best glue for static grass

Very good but can dry up in the bottle
Awesome glue, perfect for Dioramas, I got a couple of bottles for my Bday, one dried up very quickly in the bottle after using it a few times, the other bottle is still good

Only Good, Not Great
Static-TAC by Woodland Scenics dries with a slight sheen and moderately darkens acrylic paint. It also is a good but not excellent adherent. Some of the grass fibers will fall off or can be rubbed off too easily with friction. It also takes a very long time to completely dry (several days). It does what is advertised but good to know it's not perfect. I've looked at Elmer's glue, Foam Tack Glue, and Scenic Cement, and Static-TAC is superior for static grass application.

Hardened center
Even after shaking really well before using a small amount of very thin glue came out and then the center was a very solid mass that couldnt be used. I tried to stir it to mix it up but it was too solid to even stir. Unusable unfortunately.

Use PVA glue it 's just as good
You're paying for the rband, PVA glue and a bit of water etc are just as good and whole lot cheaper
