Simple, solid mic, great for the price.
I finally had to replace the cheapo plastic mic that came with my portable PA system, and this one seems like a good replacement. It's a surprisingly good microphone for the price. I plug this in to my portable PA system/active speakers for occasional announcements/speeches at events etc. This mic has a lot more gain/sensitivity than my old mic. For my use which is mostly outdoor and plugged directly into one of the powered speakers, it's okay as long as you turn the input volume down a little and don't get too close to the speakers. For indoor or performance use, I would recommend connecting this mic via a mixer for better control of the gain and levels to suit a particular room and setup. (I use a Yamaha MG06X, which is a solid little portable mixer.) Pros: - Great for the price. - Good build quality, strong metal construction. - Easy to use (Just simple and solid on/off switch) - Great for open/outdoor use. - Comes with a decent quality, long (~5m/16ft) XLR -> 1/4" jack lead. This lead is easy to swap if you need a longer/shorter lead, need a different (e.g. XLR or 3.5mm jack), or it breaks. Considerations: - It comes well packed in a box with foam. If you will be using this frequently, a decent carry case or bag and velcro strap for the lead will help keep it in good condition. - I would recommend to disconnect the lead before packing away the mic, because the XLR connector/cable will get damaged in transit if it's constantly being bent against the microphone when packed. (Don't ask how I know this!) - Slightly tapered design and perhaps a little chunky. Mic holders vary but can be too small. You might need to get a wider mic holder if you need it to slip in/out easily e.g. if you want to use the mic on and off the stand during the show without an awkward struggle every time. - It works no problem connected directly to your amp. But the speaker/singer needs to hold it at just the right distance from their mouth to avoid too much gain in some amplifiers. The gain control/levels may not be sufficient to get the best out of this mic without using a mixer.

Very good quality, worth for money!
The quality is good, the output sound is good as well. Its body is made of metal which doesn't like a toy and should be used for a long time.

So easy to use and works great.
Plugs in easily to my speaker which I also bought on Amazon and I use it for street outreach worship. Has been perfect and so easy to use! I’ve had many compliments on my voice. It’s a joy to bless others and use my voice for God’s glory. 💞

Totally inexpected! Wow!
This mic is insane for the price! I have a few mics for my home studio and i wanted a mic that was inexpensive for going out and about and for £19.99 I thought I would try it. Its really responsive (a bit bassy starting at 50hz) but a good cardioid mic. It really cut out the background noise a lot!! It reminds me of the Audio Technica Pro 41 in its style, with the karaoke style on/off switch on the body. The cable is sooooo long (4.5m) which is great and perfect for thise who need to be away from a mixer, like a presentation, an interview or say a wedding speech. The user guide inside the box is actually really well written and I like the presentation of it. A brilliant surprise is that if you register the mic with Fifine you get a 2year warranty with them. For £19.99, you’d be mad not to get this!

Ideal for a simple plug and play singer! A Bargain!
The FiFine K6 is a dynamic vocal microphone that has the characteristics of a cardioid pickup pattern, smooth frequency range (from 50 to 20 kHz), low distortion for clean sound output. Sturdy and robust metal construction, it is tailored for spoken word, vocals, and some instruments. It is supplied with a 3-pin XLR female to 1/4" microphone cable, which is protected by two-tire PVC. The total length is 14.8ft, long enough to move unimpeded. I have tested this microphone through an RME Babyface Pro preamps into Cubase Pro 10 in order to hear the exact sound of the microphone in a studio environment. This microphone is not best suited to a recording environment, and is better used as a live microphone. I have also tested this microphone in a live set up using an AER 40 watt amp (without reverb), using Ollie Carter (singer/songwriter) to test and compare alongside the industry standard Shure SM58. The Sound of the amp was recorded using a Schoeps CMC6 Mk5 (omni) for a transparent recording with no colouration of sound. Verdict: This microphone is targeted at the karaoke singer, or announcements via PA. Spoken words through a PA or amplification system. Works well also with backing tracks, in medium to small performance venues. There is a flattering frequency boost in the lower to lower mid frequency. This suits it target audience but this colouration would not be suitable for a more professionaly trained voice. For the money (£19.99 May 21019) this is a well constructed, flattering microphone with the advantage of an On/Off switch and long decent enough quality cable with a 1/4 inch jack. Ideal for a simple plug and play singer! A Bargain!

Great value for money!
This mic was only £20 which is great value for the product. It comes with the microphone AND the cable with is fabulous, when you think you can pay £10 for a cable alone elsewhere! The microphone is a normal hand held size with a good amount of weight to it. It was simple to plug in and use. I have an external audio Interface, so I plugged it in there and was ready to go. Would recommend for party's, hosting events, Karaoke, or even just a bit of fun with mates. Not the best mic on the market for recording, but that being said, you can still record some audio with this mic (maybe for samples or demos, or you just quickly want to get an idea down). Really happy with my purchase.
