Great rehab tool after wrist fracture.

I use theraputty to help my students with concentration and they LOVE it. (I work in elementary SPED -all grades.) You don't even need to give them a whole can. To save money, I just give each child a small chunk that they can fiddle with during class, and they keep it in a little baggie when not in use. It doesn't dry out and it is a minimally-distracting fidget that also helps them build finger muscles. Many of my students have thanked me for letting them use this tool and I've seen a huge gain in sustained focus for a few of my students. I just wouldn't use one that is too firm (soft is my go to) You can use it as an aid in reading (making chunks to tap out words with) too!

Great product

I am very impressed with how well it works on your hands. I was a little worried, that it won't be much different from any other type of exercise. But it's different, allows you to work with a full range of motions. Whatever feels natural now. I am not fully in love, because the "soft" - red putty, is not really soft. Maybe it's soft for strength exercise - meaning first step, but I bought it specifically for hand recovery on the day after rock climbing, when my fingers are curling up and not moving. I needed something which will force them to move. This is too hard.

Great for hand strengthening and mobility excersizes

Bought for my 92 year old mother. She plays with it every day while she is watching TV. Be sure to get the correct firmness for your needs. The Medium was too stiff so switched to the "soft" level to start with. Great price.

I use it for carpel tunnel syndrome. It works well and has a clean, neutral odor.

I just started hand therapy after having carpal tunnel release surgery. My therapist suggested I start with soft putty and then graduate to soft-medium (which this company doesn't carry). I bought the red "soft" version and it is very hard. A friend who does not have hand issues guessed that it was the hard variety (after I asked her to guess the level of the putty herself). I am unable to safely use this for my therapy because I need to start with a softer putty.
