5 stars immediately. I've been looking for a simple alarm clock and this one is great! It's basic, no frills and very easy to set up. The light from the clock is distinct and easy to read in the day, and not too bright at night. Doesn't seem to heat up, and the cord is pretty long. The alarm function is loud! But the basic tone is good. Great value for money. 10/10.

During the recent severe storms, we suffered a power surge & it burnt out some of our appliances, devices, etc including my older mom's bedroom clock. So, I came on to Amazon looking for a replacement for her. Something simple, easy to set & effective. It was the exact size as her previous one & easy for her to set herself. The light on it is perfect so its easy to see but not overpowering in its display. Just right. I loved the affordability of it. I didn't know Amazon Basics line also had alarm digital clocks! Very happy with this purchase!

the alarm is loud and kind of startling but does exactly what i need it to do lol. easy to set the time and the alarm. i prefer that it doesn't have too many bells and whistles, it's basic and not confusing. it's relatively small and appearance is as advertised.

Good clock, cheap price just needed something to keep an eye on time. Never used the alarm clock. Easy to read, easy to set up. decent size. Lights are pretty bright.

A simple easy to use alarm clock. Well made and just the right size for the bedroom. I like the green lights get time, it gives me enough light to move around in the night. Very happy with my purchase!

Does the job. Didn't know it had a brightness adjustment, but let's just say it was simple enough for me to plug-in and program with an alarm, which is a huge win. It's inexpensive, lightweight with clear visibility. I purchased three because I'm price conscious, am not going to attempt to use a multi-alarm clock, and I use it for ADD. I set an alarm on my bedside table that goes off early and I take a thyroid pill positioned next to the bedside alarm. It beeps. I cut alarm one off. Go back to sleep and wait thirty mins. for my body to absord the thyroid med, and then alarm two goes off with cold coffee in my bathroom so I remember to use sunscreen, feed the cat, and chug coffee. I go back to bed and let everything kick-in. Then alarm three goes off next to my bare minimum make-up stash 30 mins later because I am trying to impose some sort of order into my existence. The clock is discreet and generic enough to do the job unless you have Victorian Mansion design schema. It charges? I had no idea ... but if you don't find the charger either then you probably have extension cords available too. It's not a luxury clock studded in diamonds, but it's unisex and does what it's supposed to do with no fuss. Yay minimalism ... which is why I purchased three. Might buy a fourth to put next to the litter box.

For anyone who wants the perfect little alarm clock for a night table you cannot go wrong with this one . It’s very simple to use . I like that it takes batteries if needed. The lighting does not disrupt your sleep . It is clear to read . The alarm is just right . It works reliable well . The price was perfect . It seems to be of very good quality while still being light and you could travel with it easily . It’s a nice little oval style suiting any night table but not so tiny that it would be difficult to use the settings . It is just what I needed and it works so well on a nightable that also has to accommodate my other things like phone chargers, eye glasses , Kleenex , pen and paper and a glass of water or coffee. Thank you for making an alarm clock that is normal and with battery back up that doesn’t take up a ton of space and looks great and is easily used. I love the shape and the size and the ease of use .

This is NOT a battery powered alarm clock like I thought I was getting. Partially my bad for not reading close enough, but mostly the Amazon algorithm’s fault for pushing Amazon branded products that do not match my search criteria. Yes, there is a 9V battery BACKUP but you cannot just use the battery as your primary source of power. Battery not included btw so get ready to drop an extra $20 on a pack of 9V batteries. I specifically was hoping for a battery operated alarm clock since outlets are scarce in my apartment. I’ll be returning this since it is not what I wanted
