Worked perfectly on a Install

I bought these for a Havak PH2 in 300 WM, so they must withstand stress. First, I had placed a pair of tactical EGW rings. I had used the EGWs on another rifle, so I checked the alignment, which proved way off on the Havak when analyzed with a set of Wheeling lapping tools. They also looked out of place on a hunting rifle. My Warne choices had smallish (T15?) base screws, so I searched for something different. After watching a YouTube video showing a Seekins production tour, which inferred that they did the Vortex rings in the same way as they fashioned their signature brand, I opted to try them. These aligned perfectly. Lapping was unnecessary, but it helps hold things level during tightening. I am rather impressed. Hopefully, they will stand up over time. By the way, I appreciate the robust T25 hardware!

Medium height good for 2-12x50mm scope. Had some blue dust on it. Big deal, wiped right off. My alignment tool shows these to be lined up on a 2 piece base. No lapping will be required. The Vortex packaging is marked both low and medium rings depending on what side they insert the product into. At first I thought I received the low rings. But not the case. Ordered medium and got medium. Haven’t fired the rifle yet, but these feel like quality.

I also like that the torque specs are engraved right on the rings, which makes installation straightforward. They feel sturdy and lightweight at the same time, and the overall quality is what you’d expect from Vortex. My only reason for giving four stars instead of five is that the screws and hardware could feel a little more premium, especially for heavier recoil setups. That said, they’ve performed exactly as expected and I would definitely buy them again. Overall, these are a great value and a dependable option for most rifles.

Box arrived damaged and looked to be previously opened as it wasn’t sealed. Opened to see scratches and some sort of green stain on the rings. Nothing I think will affect the function-ability but disappointing to receive a “new” product that seems like it was a return.
