How many squares per inch is this paper?

6 squares in 15/16ths of an inch. Not really very standard.

I would estimate around 150 pages each for a total of around 450 all together

Is it possible to tear out the sheets?

Yes, the paper is perforated at the bottom of the "Amazon Basics" border to enable pages to be removed, but it is very thin and I've found that it does not tear away cleanly very easily. Many of the sheets are left with jagged and torn edges.
