My cat absolutely loves these bonito flakes, she goes wild the second she hears the bag. They’re a perfect little treat, and I like that the bag is generously sized so it lasts a while. The zip-lock closure is a big plus too, because it keeps everything fresh and makes it easy to store without making a mess. If you have a picky cat or just want a high-value treat, these are a hit in our house.

Cats love them! While this brand charges much more than others for same size, the flakes come whole and haven’t reduced to dust which makes the blue worth it by not having to throw away half the bag!

I purchased this out of desperation for a cat that wouldn't eat his thyroid meds. After months of trying other delivery options, I needed something new. He LOVES these flakes and at first, hiding the pill in a pill pocket wrapped in the bonito flakes worked but he soon figured it out. Now, I cut the pill, put it in a number 5 gel capsule, wet the bonito flake slightly, then wrap the capsule carefully with the flake and place it on a plate or on his food. It usually workds great!

This is an INCREDIBLE deal! Our cat was gifted a much smaller bag of much smaller flakes that is "made for cats" and he absolutely went crazy for them. When we went to buy a refill of our own we could not believe it was somewhere around $18 for a dinky bag! Sorry, buddy, that's gonna be a nope. So glad I saw this in the suggested items because they are much larger flakes that seem higher quality, plus the bag is probably 4 times larger for less than half the price! He loves them just as much, if not more because he can bite them easier due to the larger size. I can't personally speak to the taste, but these send my cat into a euphoric frenzy when he simply sees me open the drawer they are stored in. The only downside is the smell. P to the U. (but that's probably why they taste so good!) ;)

The cats do eat it. But in comparison to prior products that I've purchased, the flakes are larger and not as dry and crispy. I have to tear the pieces apart to make consumption easier. It was easier with the other brands to simply crumble the flakes with my fingers.

Was buying a similar ,few dollars cheapoer brand, that would arrive mostly all crumbs,and looked a little burnt. My cats who normally love, snubbed it. This brand they Love. I ordered seperately,so it wouldnt get bounced around w other items,turning to crumbs. Arrived intact. Cats went crazy for it. Looks/smells fresh,not burnt or stale.

My cats are so picky but they cry for these bonito flakes.

Cats love it, but just remember it contains mercury, which is not great for Man or beast.

This was advertised for cats. Not true, it’s not for pets but for humans. Maybe human grade but salt content is too high for our pets. I will be returning this because it’s false advertising.
