SE Tools 824A 45-Degree Angled Spark Plug Boot Plier

Not quite long enough to fit around number 8 cylinder plug wire but not the pliers fault, they work well.

Works well to reach recessed spark plug boots, except the rubber grips keep sliding down the handle.

I've been struggling trying to pull the boot off of a spark plug on my generator. It was on tight and in a place where I just could not get a good hold of it. It occurred to me to look on Amazon for a tool. There are quite a few, some with mixed reviews, and some a few dollars cheaper. This one looked to be very solidly made and had a "made in the USA" label. It is very solid. I don't think it's going to inadvertently bend or break. It does have a 45-degree angle on the end as all of the tools I saw did. It might have worked a little easier for me if it had been straight. But, I was able to rotate the cable boot around and position the pliers in the tight opening well enough to get a good hold of the boot and after proper positioning, it easily pulled the boot off with zero damage to the thin metal cladding around the boot. This was well worth the cost.

Require light pressure to remove boots. Nice grips.
