I bought this Velvet Flocking Liner to line the bottom shelf of my witchy cabinet,in which, to store my crystal skulls.Perfect! The crystal skulls stay in place and do not slide around easily on the metal cabinet shelves.I'm sure I can find multiple uses for the remaining roll.I'd like to add that this roll was very (!!) securely wrapped with medium heavy plastic..took me awhile to pull it off.Once the paper is pulled away from the liner, keep it mind, the backing is very sticky.

I bought this for flocking material, to prevent stray light and was happy to see that this was blacker than what I got from blick art supplies previously. The adhesive doesnt stick super well to plastics/mylar. Its a little bit hard to apply, but that is user error probably. Overall, good flocking material

We used this material to cover some clear acrylic display stands in a gift shop. The result is excellent. The finish is perfect for jewelry and other bright objects. You just need to be very careful in applying it, because the adhesive is too strong for re-positioning, and it is very easy to end up with ripples in the surface.TIPS:1.) Cut the material oversize for the surface where it will be mounted, because the adhesive grabs so quickly that is is hard to get it perfectly straight.2.) You may need a helper for this. Begin by sticking down just one small corner of the material. Then, while slowly lowering the res, smooth the surface being adhered with your other hand. If a ripple or bubble begins to form, you can smooth it out at this point, or lift the material a bit to re-adhere that area3. When it is all down, run the surface with your hand to make sure it is all tightly covered and to work out any tiny bubbles or wrinkles4.) Trim the edges with a sharp hobby knife

Use to cut down on or remove stray light in older telescopes. sticks well to 'clean' inner walls of my telescope.use strips, do not try cut and fit one piece. like I did. it wrinkled every time I tried. I think it cuts down on unwanted stray light better than black paint.

I used this product for with some picture framing. It worked very well. I am happy with this product and would recommend it.

There were no "grid lines" on the paper backing, and the flocking was lumped in places
